I have this week's episode of Veronica Mars on tape! MY tape! Because they played it on my local station last night! Which means I finally get to see it as first-run as possible for around here! *flails*

Okay, picture an entire planet populated by puppies. Tiny squealing week-old puppies. That planet of puppies cannot possibly be any cuter than Beaver and Mac. There is no possible way. And yet, vengeful!Beaver may be hotter even than Logan. No, really.

Okay, maybe not really. But it's cutting it close, because dorky-flirty-in-love Logan is my favorite version, no matter how hot fucked-up-beyond-all-human-comprehension Logan is.

In another hormone-related comment, I think Weevil should bring an adorable moppet with him wherever he goes.

Is it really weird that I not only felt sorry for Jackie in this episode, I actually kind of liked her? And I loved the fact that not only did Wallace act like the perfect gentleman he is, but his "special lady friend" was cheering him on. Those two are cute together, and if they're going to be that awesome as a pair, and Jackie's going to be this much more sympathetic, then I don't mind so much if they all end up hanging out together.

You know, as smug as Veronica can be about being right, I usually enjoy it when she is. Go figure.

Fanboy!Keith is cuddly and lovable, and I want one to hang out and be spazzy with.

And last of all, Duncan's still in the credits. Hmm. So, Duncan's coming back later then, I suppose. I'm still kind of hoping the whole storyline turns out like my personal crack theory that the baby really isn't his and he knows it and just wanted to save her (which makes a hell of a lot more sense than thinking Duncan Kane would ever not get custody of his kid), but when do my crack theories ever turn out?

I'm going to write some lengthy Wincest before I have to go back to work again if it kills me. I have until Thursday, so ... *crosses fingers*

dorky-flirty-in-love Logan is my favorite version,

Everyone's saying that That Girl's Dad is the plastic surgeon who wasn't really at the bridge that night. So... how in love is he?

Hey! That's *my* theory! And it makes sense, too... if the kid were really his, he'd get custody by sheer virtue of being the dad. And there *was* that note we never saw from Meg's air vent....

Oh, he's not in love and is totally using her to get to her dad, but even when he's faking it, he's still cute. (Although she does seem very sweet and she's awfully adorable in her own right, so I do feel sorry for her.)

And his not being the dad makes a lot more sense than his being the dad, considering his behavior all season long. As for who really is the father, I'm torn. On one hand, with the abuse going on in that home, I have a sneaking suspicion she was raped by her father (although I'm not sure they'd go THAT far), which may be a good reason why Duncan skipped out with the kid before they ever did the blood test. It saves her both from that house and from her ever knowing her origins, which could royally screw with the poor kid.

But on the other hand, with the parents she babysat for, it's possible it's one of the fathers there. I think the dad who offered Veronica sex and pot on his boat is a red herring, though -- what I've been thinking is that maybe Steve Guttenberg is the dad, and that might be part of the reason why the bus was blown up ... to get to Meg, not Veronica. (That part's a stretch, though. They'd have to give me a better resaon to work with than that.)

Besides, I think that may have been part of the reason they made Duncan run away from Neptune last season -- because they were already planning this back then and that's probably why they all seem so surprised when everybody had such a problem with the custody issues in "Donut Run" not remotely approaching real-life. They might have figured that by simple math, we'd figure out it's not his.

I really want to watch VM but I dont want to strt watching midseason and Im pretty sure its in its what? 2nd? 3rd season by now. Which is even worse.

VM is probably a lot like LOST. You can't just pop in halfway through, youve got to see it from the start or else youll constantly ask questions.

Second season. All the character relationships are established in the first, but at the same time the second season has its own plotlines to follow, so you could theoretically jump in from there.

Barring that, the DVDs for Season One are out and you could totally watch those. It's more consistent in quality, too; while Season Two has a lot of brilliant moments, there are a few episodes which are just aggravating to watch, knowing that they've done much better jobs in episodes previous.

I suggest watching the first season if you can get it, just because it's so fan-freakin'-tastic even as a self-contained entity. Just yesterday I watched an episode for screencaps, and ended up seeing the last 6 eps of the season because I couldn't stop. It's pure crack.

Additionally? I *really* wanted Veronica to kiss Weevil at the end... and we all know that I'm a firm Veronica/Logan shipper.

I wonder what the feasibility of getting Weevil/Veronica/Logan is...

Seriously. I'm not a Weevil/Veronica shipper, either, although I totally get it, but daaaaamn, did I want him to kiss her in that episode. :)

Feasiblity? I'm starting to think Weevil/Veronica/Logan is the closest to canon I've ever seen a threesome be. *giggles*

Seriously! After the sooper sekrit plotting stuff with Logan & Weevil? And now this? Totally OT3.

Additionally -- I don't know if you've been keeping up at FH at all -- but V & Logan are together over there now ;)
