So there's this guy up here who's an alleged serial killer and escaped from prison once. They found five bodies on his property, and he was acquitted of two of their murders, and now I guess he's on trial for two of the other murders. I don't watch the local news anymore -- trust me, not even worth it -- so I'm going by what I end up gleaning from everybody else. But a month or so ago, I had to sit through a conversation at work where they said he'd get off because he's handsome (um, EW) and the other day, I heard the guy's sister call the local top 40 station and request the stupid parody song they did about him on his behalf. No, that's not creepy at all.

Meanwhile, I have a cold. Oh, yeah, I manage to make it through the entire winter without getting really sick and wake up today with a sore throat and a stuffed nose. Sheesh.

EDIT: I find myself amused that for all that I loathed and despised every psychology class I've ever taken, the [livejournal.com profile] psych_30 table makes me eleven million kinds of happy. Heh. :)

I know! I do not even get it. The guy looks like a creep of the highest order, but everybody I know is like, "Ooo, he's so cute." Bwuh? Is that how slim the pickings are around here, that THAT convicted felon is a hottie? *grrrrr*

even if he was handsome to the effect of Harrison Ford or George Clooney, the fact that he IS a felon ... or even if it was just alleged, would be completely outweight it.

....and if people still have the lack of logic to find he's cute, then i would have no sympathy for them whatsoever if he appeared on their doorstep and took them hostage.

I loved my one psychology class I've ever taken. Granted I never did the homework and still passed. And the homeowork consisted of reading this section and do these vocab words and we had a few tests and quizzes thrown in for spice...

we'll see how much I like it next year in AP.

I've never had a class bore me more than my psychology classes other than my theology classes, but that chart is killing me. It's such a great way to get inspired for stories, because it doesn't set up a situation as much as it does a frame of mind. It's less plot-centric and more character-centric, which I adore. :)

And I thought the murderers in Oklahoma were odd...

"So let me get this straight. We found FIVE dead bodies on his property but he's only guilty of killing three of them?"
"Just about."
"What, did the other two have a case of spontaneous being stabbed?"
"Could of."
