Random things ...

-- Dark Places Where Monsters Dwell won Best Angst and Best Future Fic and was runner-up for Best Short Story at the Pirate Pride Awards. OMGYAY. *flails*
-- You can tell I live alone by the number of times I have to remind myself to put on pants before I leave the house.
-- I spent all of last night saying to my co-workers, "Give me one good reason I shouldn't take Wednesday off," and not one of them could. Heh.
-- I lose at answering email in a timely manner.
-- I need a USB port put into my head so I can just hook up to the computer and transfer the stories over rather than waste time typing them up.
-- I really want the Books of Boggs characters drawn up like [livejournal.com profile] the_dean_show for a tattoo when I finally get them published. That's what I'm saving my upper right arm for.
-- If you loved me, you'd give me cheesecake. *bats eyelashes at all of you*
-- I didn't realize until today that I'm a slash writer now. I mean, not that I didn't know I'd written slash, just ... you know. Weird. Huh.
-- I went to Borders yesterday to get a book on the Black Plague and ended up picking up the new Kelley Armstrong book. Speaking of things I lose at, I never get shopping at Borders just right, do I?
-- My mother is reading The DaVinci Code. I'm horribly tempted to ask her if I can read it after she's done, much like I sometimes have the urge to read the worst sorts of badfic.
-- Three more fics and I'll have written fifty Supernatural stories. If I write a hundred SPN stories by the end of the year, I'm going to laugh a LOT. You know, before they cart me away.
-- Poseidon will be in theaters this weekend, if I'm remembering correctly. I'm far more happy about that than I thought I'd be.
-- Mega Disasters makes me squeal like a little girl just for existing.

whoa!

I read your work all the time on fanfiction.com a few years back. I found your journal by accident (in a series of clicks starting with a House RPG lj). May I friend you? :)

If you're a Borders addict like I am, you should sign up for their rewards card. It's free and you get more off on sales than if you didn't have it, plus money toward Christmas shopping. I sound like I work there, don't I?

I haven't read The DaVinci Code yet either. Don't know if I will.

*blinks* Kelley Armstrong? As in, Bitten, Stolen, Dimestore Magic, Kelley Armstrong?

Dude. She lives half an hour away from me. When she was just local, a friend got me a signed copy of Bitten and Stolen (although I've been a bad fan and haven't gotten to the other books yet) and I fell in love with the stories.

*coughs* And, uh, if it's a completely different Armstrong, well, just ignore me.

YOU will be laughing. The rest of us will be spontaneously orgasming in the beauty of it all.

I stumbled across a PDF copy of the Da Vinci code somewhere. If you're not adverse to pirated books, I can email it to you.

If you tell me where you live, I will give you cheesecake, freshly made cookies, and footrubs.
Because you have written 47 SPN fics.

I fear the resulting 'Poseidon' section in the Pit Of Voles.

Ten thousand Mary Sues who join the group and they pause every other deck to have sex with whomever they are hormoaning on.

I've read the DaVinci Code and it was really very good. I recommend it.

You want a cart?
I was thinking more, palanquin or something, but you want a cart?
You can have a cart.

If you'd batted your eyelashes at me at Borders, I'd have bought you cheesecake.

I was there playing chess.
