Heh. These finales are going to be the death of me. Hell, my SPN zombie fic was Jossed right in the middle of writing it. :) (Now that I think of it, it's probably a good thing I held out for the finales for my apocalypse fic. One more finale to go, and then I can totally feel better about where I'm going with the one I want to do.)

I think I'm just going to treat both the apocalypse fics s AU. I mean, even more AU than apocalypses usually even are. At least with the other one I'm writing, even though it involves a long-dead character, I can make it work, because if said character is a zombie, the apocalypse totally works with canon.

Well, true. They're all AU, I guess, although I'm the sick bastard who wants them to be canon. I want a real canon apocalypse, goddamn it. *shakes fist in air*

My big problem right now is that it's killing me to come up with which apocalypse. With the request I want to use, it could go a LOT of ways.

And it's not entirely off-topic, but do you realize it just hit me right now that the pedophile's name is Woody? I'm so slow on the uptake, dude. *headdesk*

Don't feel bad. I might not have noticed either, except I live with QB, who had a giggle fit any time anyone ever said the name "Woody". When he heard the line about Woody's password being "Mister Goodwood", I was afraid he'd chortle himself right to death. QB is mostly a twelve-year old. Which, hmm, I guess means Woody would have liked him, too.

Next season? There should be a manmade apocalypse, and Veronica must solve who caused it. THERE'S a gripping mystery.

I'm a little slow. What does "Jossed" mean?

It's a Buffy fandom term that's pretty much spread across all fandoms at this point, referring to creator Joss Whedon. It's what used to happen all the time with that show, when you'd write a fic with one plotline in mind that worked within the framework of the already established canon and have canon from a new episode completely negate what you wrote.
