(no subject)

You know how I know I'm a dork? Because I was flipping through the TV listings for right now and there's a movie on the Sci-Fi Channel about a nanotechnology experiment releasing nanoparticles into the atmosphere, and a small giddy part of my brain really hoped that meant Jake 2.0 would come back on the air. Heh.

So, yeah. I'm at my parents's house and my grandparents are here, and they haven't said anything about the tattoos yet mostly because I'm wearing a long-sleeved T-shirt. Of course, that means the one on the back of my neck is still showing, but I'm just waiting for a comment on that one. They're not bad in small doses, though.

Still sick. Blech.

Still need to finish the writing assignment for insidian, and get one more pinch-hitter for apocalyptothon tonight (God willing), and get my own assignment finished, and do more recapping, and get more nominations done for the Lawrence Awards (pssst, you go nominate, too, particularly in the het section, damn it -- *pokes you all*).

Tell me something awesome. I need a pick-me-up. :)

EDIT: Vault energy drink commercials make me hate guys. Stupid commercials.

OTHER EDIT: Also, I still haven't seen X3, and may not get to until Tuesday at this rate. DAMN IT.

I've got four of 'em -- I have this design shaped like a four on the back of my neck, a pentagram on my right shoulder, Poe's signature across my lower back (I wanted a writer's name, it was either Poe or Shakespeare, and I may end up getting Shakespeare's signature between my shoulder blades anyway), and the inscription from the One Ring circling my upper left arm. That's the one I get all of the comments on because it's the most visible ... I end up telling people what it means an average of once a day. :)

Oh Jake 2.0. Chris Gorham you are so sweet. I liked that series. It had Logan from Gilmore in the pilot then they cut his character for NO REASON AT ALL. Ahem. Back to Jake 2.0. IT was a lotta fun!
