Jun. 19th, 2006 12:30 pmOh, damn, I am so sore all over and I want to go to work tonight like I want to have my arms gnawed off by a hungry tiger. My section of the factory only has a few people working in it, and thanks to the fact that the only other person who can run a machine has been behaving like a petty immature bitch for the past few weeks, I've become the machine operator everybody fights over getting to work with. Which ... heh, but another night of being complimented for not working everybody else on my machine into the ground still isn't much of an incentive. I keep trying to look at the bright side of tonight -- last night of the shift and a guaranteed "Good job" from the boss at the monthly meeting tonight -- but ... meh.
I swear I'm going to snap one of these days, though, because I keep getting these assistant-types on my machine who are freaking annoying. Aside from lessons in staying out of someone's personal space (I should not have to use the word "lurking" to describe so many of them), if they could stop standing there and staring at me while I work, that'd be really nice. Yesterday, the guy they sent me tried to start up conversations by asking me my last name, where exactly I live, and what kind of car I drive. Yes, because that's not creepy at ALL.
I still haven't called the dentist. Bah.

Date: 2006-06-19 04:59 pm (UTC)It's not too bad, aside from making me all sore by the end of my four day shift. And my co-workers are cool, so that helps.
