Jun. 23rd, 2006 11:35 amWell, I've got an hour to kill before I've got to go to the dentist (oh, YAY), so the whole statements of fandom thing:
Supernatural
-- Two hot angsty brothers with daddy issues, a fabulous car, a trunk full of guns, and a countryside full of monsters. That's the formula I signed up for and it's the one I fell in love with. Any rumors about someone hopping into the back seat of the Impala for the ride -- and that includes Papa -- make me antsy.
-- John is not abusive or the drunk Sam implied to his college friends he was. On the other hand, he sure as hell isn't going to win any Father of the Year awards, but for all of his mistakes, he'd rather his kids be safe than like him.
-- John/Mary ... awww.
-- Sam/Jess ... far hotter than they gave us time to appreciate.
-- Dean/Cassie ... meh. It's not that I don't think he could commit to a girl, I just have a hard time believing he could be in love with HER.
-- Sam/Dean ... hot hot HOT, but admittedly I'm a perv. Twenty pages dwelling on the wrongbad is a little (or a LOT) much, though, although God knows it should come up with those two.
-- John Winchester had a one-night stand with Sarah Connor once. No, really. If it's not canon, then by God, it should be.
-- The same with Dean/Faith and Dean/Sam/Faith.
-- Meg ... not a horrible villain in the end, but she really needed to lay off the heavy enunciating. And in the beginning she mostly just needed a punch in the nose.
-- The writing sometimes gives me the sneaking suspicion no one on the writing staff's met a woman. A few more halfway decent female characters would be really nice.
Grey's Anatomy
-- McDreamy is a pig. There is no way he should be chosen over anybody. I'd rather date bread mold.
-- Meredith is an idiot for pining for McDreamy. And she redeemed herself for all of five minutes by telling him he didn't get to call her a whore, but then at the prom she went and proved him right. Smooth move, Mere.
-- George/Callie ... yay, although if she could tone down the occasional creepy leanings, that'd be nice.
-- Izzie's just a wee bit cracked.
-- Denny was adorable, but managed to piss me off a little only because his sole purpose seemed to be to entirely change Izzie's career path. Damn it, is it too much to ask for one relationship on that show not to turn me asexual out of annoyance with both sexes and their stupid behavior?
-- Bailey owns all.
-- Alex is a slime. Admittedly, a slime who makes a point occasionally, but still a slime. On the other hand, I think he should stay away from Izzie because she's bad for him, not the other way around.
-- Addison is awesome, and if she had any sense she'd either be nailing Alex or McVet.
-- Cristina and Burke are incredibly fucked-up and HOT. Yay.
The 4400
-- I still love Shawn and Isabelle together, God help me, although that's mostly because of her in relation to him. Everything's all about Shawn, and not just because he's hot.
-- Lily shouldn't have died, unless she was going to keep being Supermom, in which case maybe she should have been hit by a truck instead.
-- Richard is too cool. When he gets control of his powers, he'll be a rock god.
-- Matthew gets more interesting the creepier he gets, which is good because he apparently has an unlimited creep potential.
-- That promicin-shot-everyone-can-take plotline better hurry up and get here FAST.
-- Diana/Marco ... They'd better stay together, damn it. The nerd hardly ever gets the girl in these situations. He's always the butt of a punchline for having a crush on a hot woman, and it's good to see it not happening for a change.
-- Watching Diana and Marco and Maia hang out together makes me deliriously happy.
-- Alana/Tom ... sex on a stick. DAMN.
Okay, that's all I have time for now, but I'll probably do more when I get back. :)

Date: 2006-06-23 04:33 pm (UTC)McJackass, certianly. I LOATHE Derick and Meredith and have forsaken the show because of it. Also, because they dragged out denny's death till the last half hour and that was such a dick thing - I didn't like them together because they ended up making Izzie a crackpot. Ugh - besides liking Bailey, Christina & Burke, and Addison (George/Callie? NO.)- there's nothing left for me.
And, um, yeah, didn't mean to go all rambly in your LJ. My bad! Just sayin' - agreed!

Date: 2006-06-23 04:54 pm (UTC)Yes. Absolutely yes. Especially since we got Robot!Isabelle in return. I do agree that she and Shawn are really hot together, but seriously. If we start getting episodes that are pretty much all her all the time, it's going to get old really fast. I mean, Lily annoyed me a lot, especially toward the end, but she was interesting. Right now, Isabelle's only interesting because of the mystery swirling around her (and because of the Shawn thing), not because she is actually interesting as a person.
Richard is totally awesome. I love Diana/Marco and I will be extremely unhappy if they get split up. And I love them with Maia.

Also...you're so right on with Grey's Anatomy that it just justifies me loving you.
