I love you. You know I do. I wish that I could sew better just watching you, because I would love a chance to try out for you. You're right after The Amazing Race and right before America's Got Talent on the list of reality shows I wish I could be on. (For the record, the only reason I wouldn't try out for America's Got Talent is that my two biggest talents are writing and tying a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue, neither of which are suited for performing before a family audience.)
Anyway, I have watched the first and secong season marathons this past week and I have a simple request for the new season that's starting tonight, without the benefit of spoilers to back me up or discourage me.
For the love of God, bring back immunity and picking out models every week.
Immunity meant something to strive for. Lacking that immunity, the designers in season two were simply trying not to get eliminated. I have this sneaking suspicion that might be why the collections for season two weren't as good as the ones for season one, because the designers weren't used to being the best, rather than simply not being the worst.
And as for the model thing, I feel like I knew the models better in season one than in season two. In season two, the only thing I really knew about the models coming out of it was that Marla's model sucked like a hosebeast and Rachael couldn't walk if her life depended on it.
Granted, you probably won't change either rule, and I will be disappointed, but I can dream.
