I wonder what it says about me that the one-note joke that is Charo always amuses the hell out of me. (Yes, I'm watching I Love The '70s. Considering I was about three when the seventies ended, I feel a little silly, although watching the 1977 episodes are always kind of neat.)
So, yeah. I definitely won't be getting Dean Jr. this week, although it's a safe bet that as long as I don't go anywhere or do anything on my weekend -- unlikely, since I've only got one day of work out of the way and I'm already exhausted -- I can get it next week. This week, I'm just going to worry about getting my bills and stuff out of the way first, and then use my overtime-swollen check from next week to pick up Dean Jr. from layaway hell. Hi, I'm a responsible adult, at least some of the time. (Also, for everybody who asked, Dean Jr. is a Compaq ... uh, something. All I know is that it has all the stuff I want out of a laptop and is within my budget. Asking me about my computer is like asking me about my car. I can't tell you a damn thing about it, but at least I know how to operate it. :))
I was reading the Project Runway recap on TWoP and realized that the only two I was rooting for to get together in the premiere were Bradley and Katie. I mean, really, how adorable would that be? She looks like a teddy bear, and he looks like Shaggy, and they both used comforters.
I know I love the heat and humidity, but that doesn't mean I don't feel gross right now. Why didn't I just skip the shower today and bathe in a bucket of my own sweat? It would have cut out the middleman, I think.
EDIT: You know that expression about making your blood boil? Honestly, this doesn't feel so bad. It's kind of a tingling sensation, actually.
Another Project Runway thought: I can totally picture Kayne watching Zulema on the figure skating episode last season and throwing tiaras at the TV while screeching, "The plural is sequins, you heinous bitch!" Which is exactly what I did, except I threw Cheetos.
