I forgot to tape Project Runway last night because I'm a dumbass. (I seriously need to get TiVo. You know, when I win the lottery or sell a kidney or something.) But I checked out the TWoP recaplet to tide me over and aw, Malan. I really did kind of like him, because as slimy as he was, he wasn't so bad. God knows we've had worse on this show -- being a bit arrogant is sort of par for the course on here.

And I'd already been spoiled on the Miss USA thing (although, "American royalty"? I should have been able to figure it out just from that and the silhouette), so I figured Kayne would take it. I mean, honestly, the guy makes pageantwear for a living. He knows what he's doing. *cuddles my little redheaded puppy*

I'm still confused why the hell Vincent's still there. Crazy nutball. I'd be more afraid to be trapped in the same room with him than with Malan any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Three more twelve-hour work days in a row to get through. Sheesh. It doesn't really help that last night I worked with the person who annoys me more than anybody else at work. The worst part is that she's genuinely a nice person and isn't lazy, but at the same time I've eaten stacks of pancakes that can retain more knowledge. She's been at work two months -- more than long enough to know what she's doing -- but every time we share a machine I'm answering the same five bajillion stupid questions over and over and OVER again. (She's no Captain Asshat, but now I can't decide what's worse -- somebody who grates on my nerves by thinking he knows everything, or somebody who grates on my nerves by thinking she knows nothing.)

I'm so freaking tired right now. I could really go for a real, honest-to-goodness vacation and I won't even get one until Winchestercon. I feel like I should beg for porn or happy thoughts or jokes or something, but mostly I just want to curl up in Jensen Ackles's lap with a bottle of tequila and DIE. And I don't even like tequila. *grumps*

You are going to have FUN with this ep of PR. It was really good. I think they rerun it pretty frequently, right? Vincent hurts me with the high strung psychosis. KAYNE!
I don't know why I didn't watch this as it ran last season while it was actually airing.

Wow, I win at proofreading today, don't I? I do this for a living, really I do. *headdesk*

Kayne and Robert as a team were so love. ♥

And I was sad Malan went, too. Yeah, he was creepy, but I enjoyed seeing him on the show. I thought it was time for either Vincent or Angela to go. Vincent is just nuts.

Kayne and Robert as a team were so love.

God, I can imagine. I've been thinking about it, and I'm starting to think that if I slash anybody this season, it'll be those two. Because Robert is awesome, and Kayne is so awesome in an entirely different yet equally brilliant way, and the two of them designing a dress for a beauty queen makes me terrifyingly giddy.

Vincent and Angela had better not stay around, because they're quite honestly the only people who are pissing me off right now. I don't like Jeffrey, and I can put up with Keith's arrogance just fine as long as his dresses are pretty and he remains snarky. But Vincent reminds me of that uncle no one would let near the children and Angela is just scary.

And honest to God, as soon as they started showing Kayne and Robert working together, the first thought in my mind was "I wonder if [livejournal.com profile] trollprincess is going to write fic about this." I want to hug both of them.

Angela started pissing me off literally from the beginning of the episode when she was bugging Kayne about being his partner. I mean, I would have wanted to work with him for this challenge too, but don't be so desperate. And both Angela and Vincent were just "OMG SHUT UP!" annoying during the show.

Jeffrey I'm not too fond of either. Santino, he is not. If he does an awesome Tim Gunn impression, though, I might forgive him a little bit. :)

Oh, man, everytime Vincent opens his mouth, I want to punch his teeth down his throat and tell him to JUST SHUT UP. I'm no Malan fan, but I would have sacked Vincent over Malan any day of the week: at least Malan's dress had some amount of style to it, even if it were a little bizarre on the boobs. Vincent's green horror looked like an aborted prom gown. Nasty.

I'd been all fired up to see the part of them kicking someone out that they'd showed on the previews the week before, and was seriously disappointed when that didn't happen. I guess I will just have to wait and keep watching!

See, for some reason, Vincent didn't bug me as much as Angela did in this show. But I definitely agree that it should have been Vincent or Angela before Malan. I like Malan. His dress wasn't great, though neither was Vincent's. Vincent's, I liked the color, but it was a little plain. Malan's would have been loads better with a lighter color. But I loved that he took responsibility. And now I just feel really bad for him, especially after the story about his mom.

I KNOW! I want to find out what someone did that was against the rules! Not enough to be spoiled for it, but they can't just keep teasing us like that. Very unfair.

I agree - Malan's dress wasn't fantastic; I think it would have been improved by not bunching around the chest so much, and simplifying some of all that gathering and ruching, but it was original and fairly well-tailored. I think he showed much more character than either Vincent or Angela in his way of saying, "Yes, it's my design, I should be the one to go," as opposed to Vincent and Angela who just kept blaming each other. And yes, I completely agree about that story in regards to his mom!

I felt that Vincent's dress had no... panache, I guess? No flair. Nothing that said, "Beauty Queen" instead of "Prom Princess." It didn't fit or flatter the model that well, and while yeah, Angela didn't do much to help and wasn't being a good team supporter, I felt that Vincent was a lousy team leader. He basically ignored Angela and anything she had to say, or when he did pay attention to her, he told her to shove it - then turned around and whined that she wasn't helping. Total wanker.

*hands you a bottle of GOOD Herredura tequila (none of that jose cuervo shit), limes and salt*
*points to shirtless Jensen*
For the evening, just call him Body Shot Boy. *winks*

Out of the two choices you gave, I'd rather work with the chick that thinks she knows nothing - you can eventually get them to understand that they're smater than they think. The know-it-alls make me plot on how to hide bodies.

Dude, I've been trying to get that woman to understand she's smarter than she thinks for TWO MONTHS. The scary thing is I'm starting to believe her, because honest to God she keeps asking questions on mind-numblingly simple things we learn in week one.

Example: We have a list of components we need to put together an order of CDs, like a checklist or a recipe. You learn how to read it in week one. It's not that hard. The past couple of weeks, she's asked me how I knew which trays (those little plastic things the CDs sit on) go in an order (they're written on the checklist in big red marker) and where I got a number to put in a computer when scanning in a barcode didn't work (all of the barcodes have the numbers in big letters right above them). She also keeps asking me between orders, "Well, should I start the machine now? How about now? How about now?" Dude, you're OPERATING. The last order is out of the machine, put a new one in. *headdesk*

oh shiiiiit! Just when you thought there MIGHT be enough chlorine in the gene pool....

I think I'd probably start humming music or something. Just to keep me sane. When they hired her, did the find out if she could.. oh I don't know, fucking read?!

After reading this?? Umm, you're a saint. *nods* Your altar should include pictures of naked Jensen and umm, good booze and much chocolate.

You think that's frustrating, you should see how antsy I get when she's setting up orders. She keeps shuffling around with her head down doing one. thing. at. a. time. The thing is you have to do everything fastfastfast, so you get used to multi-tasking. Well, you do if you're not her. *eye roll* I'm spazzy anyway, so watching her take her sweet time makes me twitch just watching it.

I took it as somewhat of a good sign when the process coach pulled me aside at one point early in the night (we take turns running the machine, and she took the first six hours) begging me to take over so we could get some production out because she was taking THAT long.

*sighs* I swear, she's such a nice person, but my GOD, woman, you've been there two months already. You should know your freakin' job.

As for her? She needs to go work for the Post Office.

She reminds me of the girl who used to live next door to me. She was a royal bitch, but then she moved away and I didn't see her for years. When I finally saw her again, she was the nicest person...but absolutely dirt stupid. Mind-blowingly stupid. There was some serious glue-sniffing, far as I can tell.

I wasn't a huge Malan fan (but then I was like 'he's Tim Curry trying to be Austin Powers!' and I liked him a lot more), but he was amazingly classy during the judgement on the runway. And then I was seriously emo when he got kicked off.

(Vincent's just a dick. Seriously.)

I hated Angela SO MUCH. She didn't even have a design of her own, which means her entire plan was to get by one someone else's work. What a whore.

OMG you have to record the reruns, if for nothing else than to hear Kayne in his beautiful Southern glory tilt his head and say "You look gorgeous sister!" I died from cute.

Kayne and Robert we the CUTEST things EVER omg. they were just all GLEEFUL about working together. And even though Malan creeped the shit out of me, I was sad to see him go, he certainly had a lot more potential than Angela or Vincent does. UGH.

*snickers* Well, of course they were gleeful about working together on that challenge. A pageantwear designer and a guy who worked for Barbie? They're practically ringers. ;)

You don't like TEQUILA?!? But it's made out of cactus juice! (well, agave, whatever...) What's not to love?

Okay, okay...

Why did the Winchesters cross the road?
