Hours before I'm going to pick up the laptop, and NOW the computer starts working better. *headdesk*

Meanwhile, I haven't finished watching Project Runway from last night just yet, but I've spoiled myself on the outcome and who is Angela screwing? No, seriously, who the hell is she sleeping with, because I haven't seen her final finished outfit and I already want to strangle her.

And the scary thing? Vincent's actually growing on me during this episode. I mean, not a lot, but if you're going to have a challenge like this and you have to make an outfit for a dog, I respect someone who goes crazy and has fun making the dog outfit rather than someone who gets pissy and sanctimonious about the whole thing, Keith.

I keep thinking I want an icon of Katie giving her dog model a high five and every time I do, I think of Angela still being on the show and I want to punch something. I need to listen to Tim's podcast to see if maybe he thinks the judges and producers are on crack, too.

Maybe we'll get lucky and that spoiler about who gets kicked off was wrong, and it'll turn out Angela did something horrible that requires Tim to bitchslap her.

Okay, now I have seen her outfit and ... *gags*

Vincent's actually growing on me during this episode.

Yeah, I know. Scary, huh? I still don't like him, but I thought it was pretty damn adorable that he cracked himself up and had so much fun making the little doggie hat.

Angela's really getting on my nerves, though. In fact, I started to flip channels when she had the opportunity to mouth off, just because I couldn't stand her. The sad thing about that outfit is that it really is impressively made. It just sucks.

And Keith is just being a major asshat. If you've seen the end of the episode by now, you know what I mean. He didn't exactly make a good showing with the judges. I really wanted him gone, but sadly, his attitude problem wasn't quite enough to do it.

Yeah, Angela's outfit was well-made, I'll give you that. But how the hell she got from that story to that outfit is beyond me. And really, if I see her and one of her stupid bubble skirts sharing the same screen again, I'm going to hurl.

Keith is just ... *sigh* Either he's playing at being that obtuse for the cameras, or he really IS that obtuse. Dude, they gave you two assignments -- dress your model, and dress your dog. You didn't do half of your assignment. If you were in school, that means you fail, no matter how brilliant the other half of your assignment. I keep thinking that maybe he gets kicked off for getting too frisky with one of the models. I don't see any of the other designers going for his hornball shtick, he's flirted with the models already here and there, and nothing Malan ever did was half as creepy as Keith feeling up Miss USA. (I'm impressed that for all of the spoilers I've seen in regards to who gets kicked off, I haven't seen one that's completely and totally solid. I'm almost grateful -- the suspense is killing me.)

I'm assuming that (like in past seasons) the producers are putting their foot down, and keeping her around a little longer for dramatic tension/someone to hate. Apparently the rules (in tiny print) say that the producers have final vote on who leaves and who stays.

Tim Gunn has said the producers have never intervened. People don't get the judging standards I think.

The judges will always punish you for blandness or not trying to say anything. Doing something weird poorly will always beat out a well made but otherwise unremarkable dress. The first few people get booted usually because they made a most boring, unoriginal dress.

That's why Santino's "this garment was designed to come off" Bavarian circus survived and Daniel F's look alike lingerie got the boot.

i've just listened to tim's podcast and, yeah, he seems to be on board with how you (and i) feel about angela and the judges. he's kind of "wtf?"

if she were to get kicked off, i think i would dance. although the spoiler is pretty awesome, too.

I don't like Vincent. I thought he was crazy-funny in the first episode, and since then it's been downhill. I feel like he's an act, his whole starving designer who just HAS to do this with his 401k and all that shit. Somehow I just don't buy it.

I've heard from somewhere that Tim said that everyone's speculations about who is getting the boot is wrong. Which is interesting.

Also, don't like Kayne. I knooowww that he's like, everyone's baby but I don't trust him. I feel like he's going to be the bad guy, somehow.

Angela's design motif seems to be that adding a hundred rosettes to everything will make it a million times better. Seeing the preview for next week confirms that. So delusional.

You should have seen what happened when I came home. The whole problem was that the computer was overridden with viruses even though I kept running Norton and everything else I could manage, but they'd freeze up before they could do anything about them.

I get home, unhook the net connection, plug in the laptop ... and one of my antivirus programs on the desktop suddenly goes through an entire scan and offers to heal the problems. Heh. Fuck off and die, desktop. I've got a new baby. *cuddles laptop*
