The best trick I have for fanfic writer's block goes a little something like this.

First, I go to work. Then I let my mind wander a LOT and write down every story idea that comes into my head for an entire work day. And I mean every story idea -- no filters allowed. Nothing gets crossed out, nothing gets edited. Even the completely CRACKED ideas, even the stuff I never think I'll write.

So now I've got a list of fifty Supernatural fic prompts.

Heh. Well, that's one way to kill twelve hours.

Hey, look, a weekend! I think I'll soak in it. :)
