The next person who calls Kayne a tattletale is getting a punch in the fucking face with my tiny, ineffectual fists.

Would it be better if he HADN'T told? If he'd just let Keith slide by for the rest of the season with goddamn pattern books under his bed? It was an unfair advantage and it was breaking the rules expressly put out to these people when they signed up.

Keith made this big deal about WOE, why haven't I won every single challenge, for I have the best execution of anybody on the runway? And he DID. And the judges noticed. And the only reason he hadn't won two of the first three challenges rather than just the first was that he was too fucking spoiled to make a dog outfit. Keith might have been a smug punk, but he was right -- he would have gone far, and somebody had to say something.

So now there's people calling Kayne a tattletale. And so far, with the addendum with, "It's just as bad as the cheating!" Hey, guess what? NO, IT'S NOT. God, I hate that attitude. "Don't do anything wrong, but if you find out someone else is, turning them in is bad, too."

*headdesk*

Just another sign that if I had any goddamn sense, I wouldn't go anywhere near the TWoP boards. *growls*

EDIT: I ... have this weird desire to write Laura and Michael friendship fic. *wanders around dazed and confused*

You know, one of the kindergarten teachers I know always asks little kids if they are tattling or telling. Telling is because someone is hurt or breaking the rules. Tattling is if you're trying to get that person in trouble.

I don't thing Kayne was trying to get Keith in trouble. The whole thing was very up front. He asked Micheal and Robert, and *they* said to go to the producers and let them decide what to do.

Some people always have to play devil's advocate.

I like that rubric. It seems very useful. I think I'm going to put that on my userinfo page.

I like it too. It's very useful on playground duty. :)
