Date: 2006-08-08 11:12 pm (UTC)Hmmm...I have never heard of any of those people before. That's why I have no idea if it's good or not.
I assumed it was going to be an X-Men rip-off, like Mutant X. Of course, seeing the guy who manages to set the clock back about half a second, I have no idea what to think. Weird power. Or the girl that resets her arm.
The part with some sort of mirror double that they've been showing in the previous does look interesting.

Date: 2006-08-08 11:23 pm (UTC)Greg Grunberg (the telepathic cop) -- JJ Abrams uses him in pretty much everything, because he is made out of AWESOME.
Ali Larter -- The chick with the mirror double. She was the last woman standing in the first Final Destination. She's okay, and yeah, the mirror double stuff looks awesome.
Milo Ventimiglia (the "I think I was flying" guy) -- Was on Gilmore Girls as Jared Padalecki's competition for Rory. The character was love-him-or-hate-him, as far as I can tell, but he's really good.
Adrian Pasdar (Milo's politician brother) -- Was the lead in Profit, which ran for a season in the early nineties on Fox (I think, I might have gotten the details a wee bit wrong). File it under "Brilliant but cancelled" -- as long as the character doesn't suck, he could be fabulous.
Hayden Panetierre (the cheerleader with the healing factor) -- I was still watching Guiding Light when she was playing Lizzie on the show, so she's always going to be stuck like that in my head. But she's always been a good actress, even when she's in dumb things like that stupid "Bring It On" sequel they keep showing ads for.

Date: 2006-08-09 02:01 am (UTC)Yeah, Mininova's estimate of how many seeds and leeches are currently attached to a torrent doesn't always seem to be entirely accurate... *scowl*
