*whimpers some more* It's so quiet.

Except for the "City Confidential" about Dungeons and Dragons dorks killing one of their stepfathers. Sheesh.
Anyway, the good news -- my MP3 CD player still works. \o/
The bad news -- the Zen took pretty much all of my music with it. I can survive on Pandora at home, but when I go to the movies tomorrow and maybe the mall and Starbucks afterwards, I need new music or I'll start to twitch.
So, this is where I beg. Anybody got any good music they could YSI my way? *bats eyelashes*
What I like: Er, I can't really point to a specific band or a genre of music. I like songs for atmosphere, the things I can picture when I close my eyes and listen to them. Let's see ... Dance music with good beats. My latest additions to my dance mix -- "Caught Up" by Usher, "Sexy Back", the Pussycat Dolls, and yes, I realize they're dorky and popular, and no, I don't care, because if it's something that's fun to dance to, I like it. Indian dance music is FABULOUS. Hard rock that sounds like the kind of stuff that would make a great ass-kicking vid soundtrack, but not too loud and harsh -- I loathe System of the Down, for example. Instrumental songs, film scores, or songs with lyrics not in English with spooky or dark moods -- they make for great writing music. I'm not a HUGE fan of country music, particularly drippy love songs, but the twangy, "We're wearing cowboy boots drinking longnecks in a bar with our buddies! WOOHOO!" kind of songs can be fun. Oh, and speaking of slow songs, I don't like sap, I like pretty. "Konstantine" and "How To Save a Life" are some good ones.
Oh, God, I sound so picky. *headdesk*
*snuggles up to friends list*
*takes cue from icon, rests head on your cleavage and gives you great big puppy dog eyes*

As a group, gamers are no more violent than any other; and far less violent than your average high school or college football players.
Don't get me wrong. There are some nutcase gamers out there; but nutcases exist in every segment of society.

Date: 2006-08-17 10:33 pm (UTC)Here's my uploaded music folder. It's tragically small, because I asked Servage to move me to a faster cluster, and they confiscated all my mp3s. Boo. I have no idea if you'll like any of this stuff, it's a real hodge-podge, but feel free to help yourself ;)
