Not the best alarm clock in the world, but I'll take it today.

I kept hitting my alarm clock and rolling back over way past the time I wanted to, until somebody started pounding on the front door and wouldn't stop. So I rolled out of bed and to the front door to find two sheriffs there asking if a guy named John lived here. Nope, not here, but there's two apartments in this building and I was pretty sure he was in the other one. Which, by the way, is what I told the guy from the water company who came to shut off my water a few months back because they thought it was this John guy's apartment, too. I'm really curious what the hell is going on there and yet very much not at the same time.

So, yeah. I guess Jensen and Jared went to the Teen Choice awards and presented or something. This is like the rest of the time, where I kind of have no desire to see photos of it or anything. Not that I don't enjoy them both to bits, I just have this thing for watching them in interviews and stuff. It's like when people ask me if I'm going to Winchestercon to see the actors and I'm all, "Oh, hell, NO." Although I can definitely explain that one -- having been to Syndicon and spending that entire weekend acting like a complete spazz because the HL actors were in the hotel within gawking distance, I kind of just want to spend Winchestercon hanging out with my online buds and not acting like a freak around a guy I've thought was hot for something like ten years.

Work continues to be a freaking hellbeast. This is the second night in a row that we've worked our asses off until there was literally no work left for day shift, and yet we didn't get sent home early so they'd have something to do. Meanwhile, day shift's been getting sent home at the drop of the hat, and neither shift's all that happy about it. I want to go hoooooooome, damn it. (Okay, yeah, I am home right now. And then in three more hours, it's back to another night of ridiculousness.)

Also, they won't let me bring my handheld sudoku game into work. And Vincent has been in the bottom three every challenge except the dog challenge and yet is STILL on Project Runway. Grrrr.

So needless to say, not having the best day.

However, I have strawberry cheesecake ice cream in the freezer.

Dude, i am *right there with you* on the whole 'con/interview thing. I *like* these boys, so much, but my own personal neurosis just says 'No!' to seeing them in person or on interviews. It's like....it's okay to do the fanfic, 'cause it's all made up and just using them for achetypes. But an interview or a 'con? Seems like i'm being a big 'ole freaky voyeur.

Of course, when i publish my novel and, let's say, some hot guy i really like wants to star in the movie as the lead...*cough*...then i'll hang out 'til the cows come home.

*snickers* Tell me about it. One of the characters in my book has been physically based on a couple of actors since I started, but in the last year, he's turned into Jensen. Aaaaaand then I started planning out plotlines for later books and up popped Jared. They're sneaky little devils. ;)

Dude! I totally get that about the interviews and stuff im the same way. I'll look at pictures and i did see clips from last night but i have a really hard time doing it. if its on my frienslist or someone really wants me to look i will, but i have this real sense of don't make me please. i never understood what it was but im glad im not the only one. its like of course i adore them and think they are hot but i just...don't wanna know. ill stay in my happy little bubble. i only know any details of whats going on through my friendlist. even then its all, *squinty eyes*. If i saw them in person id honestly like, pick up my jaw and run the other way.
