apocalypsosI have discovered three things in the past fifteen minutes.
1. The old stereo that's been sitting on my entertainment center for the past year that I've never turned on because I've always had my MP3 player sounds like crap and doesn't pick up anything other than 98.5 KRZ, which is pure unadulterated crap with moronic DJs.
2. The stereo-in-a-cabinet that came for free with Joe Bag O'Lugnuts, The Five Hundred Dollar Car That Could -- the one that's got to be as old as I am and which I've also never turned on -- sounds fabulous and picks up every radio station around and possibly even the conversations in the next building over.
3. The stereo-in-the-cabinet has an Iron Butterfly cassette in the tape deck.
You can imagine my squeally fangirlish reaction to that last one. Heh.
Tonight I'm going to clean my apartment, just as soon as I can pry myself away from I Love The '70s. *crosses fingers* And then tomorrow I'm going to Panera Bread, because apparently they've got free wifi and I can get some damn work done. :)
