Dude, this place rocks. Free wi-fi and good food? Score. Plus, I'm sitting right next to the fireplace, and I love fireplaces. BLISS. I may move into this place as soon as it starts snowing for the winter and never leave.

In other news, on the way down here, I listened to that marathon of bad music on the college radio station. Let's see, they played:

1. The state capitals song and the Nations of the World song from the Animaniacs. (Oh, COME ON.)
2. A big-band version of the Hokey Pokey.
3. "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas." (It's September. It's bad enough making Christmas CDs at work gets that music stuck in my head on a regular basis.)
4. The theme to "A Summer Place". (Every time I hear that, I think of Oz and feather boas. Heh.)
5. "Stars Are Blind", by Paris Hilton. *snickers*

I discovered something else, too. Per the DJ, they're playing one Nickelback song every hour on the hour until the start of the new season on Monday. *dies*

I'm falling in love with a radio station that plays awful music twenty-four/seven ON PURPOSE. Send help.

Okay, now to do what I planned on doing when I got here -- work on the next edit of the synopsis.

(I'd like to thank the Academy and Dean Jr. for making all of this possible. YAY!)

Seriously. I was so ashamed I couldn't remember the words to either song, though. *hangs head*

I got the smokehouse turkey panini, chicken soup and an apple, and the only reason I haven't eaten all of it is that ... well, I never finish an entire meal, no matter how delicious. *shrugs*

Turkey artichoke. Unhealthy, yet very, very good. Also try the asiago bagels (untoasted, since it's more like cheesy bread than a bagel anyway), preferably with the sun-dried tomato cream cheese. And the asian sesame chicken salad.

Actually, just go ahead and try everything. ;)

(Except most of their fancy drinks are scary. But their regular coffee is fine, and the iced green tea is very yum. And hot tea is safe.)

Heh. I'll have to do that if I go tomorrow. You know, if it stops raining and looking so damn gross out. *makes face*

If it's done right, there should be a big round mug and an offer of whipped cream and chocolate syrup. *happy sign of memories*
