I really wish work would stop taunting me by not giving us anything to do and making us think there's a chance we might go home early. *sighs* (What would be really nice would be if you could go home when you hit your quota. That would be awesome, mostly because I would have been in my car heading home at three o'clock this morning.)

So that's what Suri Cruise looks like. Cute, I guess, although the looks on Tom and Katie's faces are a wee bit creepy. And am I the only one who thinks her hair looks dyed? I mean, not to be all conspiracy theory, but still.

I've been feeling the urge lately to write a "Why John Winchester Is Not Satan" manifesto. Blame the fact that even though I keep saying I won't go to that annoying center of entertainment completely lacking in pity, I just keep going. And the John hate there is just ... I mean, it's not like I don't expect people to hate the guy, but what I see over there sometimes is REALLY pushing it. (Masochistic? Yeah, I'm starting to think I am. Why do you ask?)

EDIT: What do you do when you're afraid of public speaking? Apparently if you're me, you say you're willing to be on a con panel. Heh.

Do what I do: forget your password, and then be too stubborn to reset it/have them email it/whatever. It works wonderfully.

The only way to get over a fear of public speaking is to do it. I used to be deathly afraid of it. I took a class entitled "speach dynamics" in college and that helped a lot.

So being on the panel may help you.

I don't think it's so much that it's too dark for a baby as that it's a weird contrast between the color of her hair and the paleness of her complexion. I mean, her skin is the same shade as mine was as an infant, and my hair was practically cornsilk blonde.

Okay, I'm a freak: I can handle public speaking---I'll address a church full of people, no problemo...and I just got canned from a telemarketing job because I had panic attacks trying to call people on the phone.

Manifesto--yup, I did one of those a while ago in the House fandom on "Why Rowan Chase is NOT Eeeevil". It sank without a trace, but at least I got it out of my system. Go for it.

Suri Cruise: on the cosmic list of things I completely don't give a rat's ass about, she's right up there at the top of the list. Her dad's a weirdo and her mom can't act. Poor kid, I wouldn't want to be her, even if her dad probably earned more money in interest on his millions today than I made all of last year.
