How to kill time and be confused by people.

Having seen spoilery photos for the Project Runway final collections, I have a few comments:

1. With collections like that, Laura will win. Hers is lovely and elegant and there isn't a thing in it I wouldn't wear, which is the same thing I said about Jay's collection in the first season.

2. Having said that, WOW. She just swelled right the hell up, didn't she? Good for her. :)

3. Uli's collection is my second favorite. Yes, she had to have a halter dress, but the rest of that is pretty and flowy and gorgeous.

4. Having said that, who the hell did she kill to get Nazri?!

5. Oh, Michael. On second thought, maybe she didn't kill anyone to get Nazri. Maybe Michael gets eliminated next episode and this is his idea of revenge, or maybe he develops Daniel V. disease and gets cocky. What happened to the guy who just incidentally designed hip-hop outfits?

6. I like Jeffrey's collection. It's not my favorite, but it's not awful. It's weird, but that's his thing, I guess. At least with a collection like that, he probably won't win.

The last four get to show their collections, but only the final three get shown on the show. It's a way to keep spoilers of the final three from leaking out before the finale. They've been doing it since season one.

I haven't been watching all along, but we caught an ep last night and I said something I've never said when watching this show: "I want that dress!"

It was Laura's way cool black lacy designs on top of white. God, I want that dress, even though I'd look awful in it!

She'd better win, since her designs are way nicer than the others, IMO. Also, go pregnant woman! ::grin::

Jeffrey makes me homicidal like Stephen from Top Chef. Ugh. And I don't like his clothing at all.

I watched her model come out and thought, "That's adorable!"

I normally do not like baby doll silhouettes. I find them unflattering on anyone not built like a boy. They look like there should something underneath, and then the wearer would look pregnant. But this was clearly a baby doll - tight on top, looser on bottom with no waistline - that worked. I think it was because even the bottom was tailored and elegant - just like Laura herself. And, yes, the neckline was different and it worked and it was adorable, which was the effect she was going for. And she made a lovely little clutch, too. She and Michael had the right idea about what to do with the scraps.

Huh, I actually liked Uli's swim suit the most. But Laura deserves the win with her collection. Wow.
