I didn't tape Jericho last night, so I'm going to have to torrent the bastard. Story of my life, really.

I'm probably going to do the same thing with Grey's Anatomy, because I'm not exactly sure if I can tape both that and The Office on my cable. It's a little bit weird like that. And in a choice between the two of them, with Jim and Pam, so goes my nation. Because God knows my nation isn't going anywhere near Meredith and Derek without disinfectant and the phone number of a good psychiatric hospital. I take a little heart in the fact that my cable guide only mentions poor crazy Izzie's situation, but you just know it'll be ten minutes of Izzie and thirty minutes of Meredith debating who to fuck like anyone gives a damn who's got the ten-o'clock reservation in her vagina and who's got the ten-fifteen.

Um, I may be bitter. But then again I just spent the weekend watching Jim and Pam spend an entire season doing things like save a guy they hate from public humiliation on more than one occasion (admittedly, it's the opposite of the embarrassing situations they've put him in to start out with, but still) and take a dork they loathe to the hospital and I can't see Meredith and Derek taking ten minutes out of their annoying "illicit" sex schedule to do either of those things, and they work in a freakin' hospital.

... okay, yeah, that's bitterness.

On the plus side, I organized my writing schedule last night at work. No, really, this is more momentous than it seems.

Eh, I think you're being a bit hard on the characters. They're human, and human beings do stupid things. They also do nice things, which both of the characters have done. I like the fact that the characters on Grey's make mistakes and the mistakes are dealt with realistically, as in, in real life, yes, sometimes women like Meredith don't have to face the consequences like we might wish them to.

Oh, I know I'm being hard on them, but by now, I can't stand either one of them. I don't have a hell of a lot of tolerance for people who cheat on their spouses as it is, so the two of them hit a lot of my buttons.

How do you feel about Addison then?

I don't like that she cheated at all, but I do like that she's trying to make up for her mistake. She's certainly doing a hell of a better job at that than Derek is.

Yeah, I think I'll be watching The Office this season rather than Grey's. I'm getting to the end of my roommate's DVDs of Season 2 and Meredith really isn't on my list of favorite characters. I mean, I know, people make mistakes and do stupid stuff, but I'm so tired of the two of them. I want to see more about Burke and Cristina.

All of my problems with that show would be solved if Meredith and Derek got hit by a bus in the season opener. Then Addison could have mournful hot sex with Alex and we could focus on more important things like Burke and Cristina's sweetly dysfunctional relationship and Bailey being more awesome than EVERYONE.

When the guy Addison had an affair with was on, I was kind of like "Damn! Why didn't she choose him again?" He was cute.

Bailey is quite literally made of awesome. I ♥ her.

jericho was interesting, but at this point it still seems, to me, to make a better miniseries as opposed to a regular tv show.

And as an aside, damn Gerald McRaney (sp?) has gotten OLD.

Word. When I looked up his bio on the Jericho website and saw that he played the lead in "Major Dad," I was shocked.

Okay, I gotta say. I don't have a problem here. Tonight I'll watch the season premiere of CSI and starting next week, it's Supernatural and my niece will be recording CSI for me. She's the one that's going nuts trying to decide on CSI or Grey's, since with her DVR you can record two shows at the same time, but you can't watch a third.

I will say this though. If I hear one more person come in and actually use the name Dr. McDreamy one more freakin' time, I'm gonna unload a shotgun full of rock salt into their ass!!

Skimming this and reading my name in conjunction with someone I used to be friends with rather freaked me out. I don't have sex with Mered - oh.

"Jericho" is rerunning this Saturday evening, so you can watch/tape it then. I don't know if that's going to be a regular thing, though I kinda hope so, since I have a group of friends I hang out with on Wednesdays.

Oh! If you don't mind some spoileriness, check out my running commentary on the premier in my most recent post.

If you don't watch anything on Fridays at 8PM, ABC is rerunning the current week's Grey's Anatomy in that timeslot for a while, so you can always catch it then.
