I just ... I loved the entire episode, but my God, Ash. *hugs him* Will do anything in under fifteen minutes for PBR. Gotcha. *makes story notes*

For the record, this episode did go quite a ways towards making me like Jo more. She just failed so badly at hitting on Dean. REO Speedwagon and fear of her mother. My God, there's an awful combination for flirtation if there is one. *giggles*

Okay, so yeah, I really liked Andy, too. Just ... yes, Andy, be a good guy. Live in your awesome van and make Star Wars references that make Dean beam like an idiot (okay, so it was his powers that made Dean smile, I DON'T CARE). And you appreciate the Impala and have a barbarian woman on a polar bear on the side of your van and you walk around town in your robe! I want to write fic about Andy like crazy. He's kind of dorky, but he's a sweet dorky.

The fact that Webber's mom didn't die in a fire is cool, but weird. I mean, yeah, that means there are more psychics out there, but I really hope they know where this is going because personally I've got no freaking clue. That doesn't mean I'm not loving every minute of it, but still.

It seems like to me The Demon was trying to kill the mothers of the children that had the greater potential to be good, as a means of turning them bad? And the kids that were already bad... well, he didn't really have to do much there.

I agree that Jo became much more likable! She's not perfect, btu she is a bit snarky and sassy and also kind of bad at this hitting on Dean thing. YAY. I think they're really quite sweet, and I'm glad because I would have hated to hold that against my show.

Andy was also SO ADORABLE. it's really bizarre that I'm talking more about the guests than SamandDean! There was some great Winchester stuff too, but not nearly as mindblowing as, say, Bloodlust. Definitely rewatching though.

Also? Alpha Sam is like my new favorite thing ever. GUH.

Jo seems like the type that wants them only when she knows she can't have them. If they keep that as a consistant part of her character, and as a character flaw, I think I'll quite like her. I loved Dean's face when the REO Speedwagon came on, just screaming "Abort! Abort!" They had actual chemistry during the scene and the part about her mom and the fact that the chemistry carried over enough for him to be singing the song afterwards all worked. I could see myself liking Jo.

It won't replace the Dean/Ash as OTP, but, you know...it's entertaining. They could have a fling. (Or Dean could get with Ellen. Either/or.)

For the record, I would like to say that it's mostly your fault that I finally caved and started watching Supernatural (holy GOD, I need another fandom like I need another kidney infection!).
But yes, I LOVED this ep! And omg, WHY did I have to watch the Hitchhiker's Guide movie yesteday? I kept expecting Andy to randomly grab a towel or something because of it...
