One show down, four to go.

First off, just to get this out of the way:
Dear Yuletide Santa,
Hey there. *waves* Mostly I'm just happy to get a story at all. I'm really easy like that. ;) But in the interests of being specific, all I ask is a good beta before it goes up. I can work with any plot, any characters in the fandoms I picked, and any tone and loves the pants off it just as long as they fit with the fandom in question and there's not huge glaring errors run amok in the story. It throws me WAY off.
Okay, more specifically by request:
#1 -- Admittedly I'm picky with this request, because really the pairing in question is all I want. I've been dying to see that pairing in fic because it's funny and cute and smutty all at the same time. Also if I'm being totally honest, this is the request I'm in love with the most. If it's not the one you signed up for, though, don't worry. I'll probably write it myself after Yuletide anyway. ;)
#2 -- I have no idea where the hell this request came from. Seriously. I just know that as soon as I saw the fandom again on the list of available fandoms that question of characterization popped into my head. You don't have to get smutty about it (no, really, you don't, and I can totally understand if you didn't and not blame you one bit, but if you did I would be giddy because the thought makes me giggle), because really I'd just really love to see a good story about how the character got from point A to point B. That particular transition made me all kinds of spazzy when I saw it, because oh, MAN.
#3 -- In this fandom, I'm fair game. I'd appreciate it not too angsty, and the one character I brought up that I don't want slashed with anyone? Yeah, that's really my only squick in the fandom, although I don't mind him in a story at all especially if he's doing that one really funny thing that he does. Go figure. Otherwise, feel free to write anything your little heart desires. You've got my favorite pairing. Go nuts. :)
#4 -- I really love this character. Like, a lot. Even if canon inevitably kind of toyed with him (and gave us the usual crap about somebody else being more important to the plotline, if you catch my drift), I adore him. I do like the rebellious aspect of him in regards to his family, if you know what I'm saying, but I love the thought of when that certain familial conformity appeals to him.
Thank for the story in advance. I can't wait to read it! :)

As for all of the television shows I have to catch up on ...
Oh, Michael. Every time I want to hate him, I can't because he's such a huge dork and yet he really is willing to try anything and get involvedunlike some people who shall remain blond and sanctimonious.
Kelly's family pumping Ryan for information was awesome, and Ryan's matter-of-fact response to it? Heh.
I love Jim and Pam and Jim/Pam and all of their wonderful JimPamminess, but my GOD, I'm starting to want to keep Karen and Roy all to myself right now. Karen is awesome, so very very awesome, and she's slowly but steadily making me want a Get Out of Heterosexuality Free card with her. And Roy! Roy who's done a turnaround since Pam dumped him and is really improving himself unlike some other fictional characters in the same situation and who walked into the party looking REALLY FUCKING HOT and then left. Oh, Roy. *hugs him*
Women in sari dresses are gorgeous. The end.
Meanwhile, I have a feeling that the post for Supernatural is going to be looooooooong, particularly because I know that particular villain INSANELY well and will feel free to nitpick to my heart's content.

I like that Kelly's parents were actually Kelly's parents. Rather, Mindy's parents. That was a nice little touch.

I went to a night of Navaratri in Charlotte, and it was like prom except all the women were in saris and had bangles bracelets. I wish I'd taken a picture -- every woman there was so colorful, and beautiful.
