I seriously hope Claire's father and Eden are really good guys. *crosses fingers*

Oh, look, Hiro's little redheaded waitress have a super photographic memory! And she's so cute and sassy! That's it. We're keeping her, just like a lost puppy.

OMG, Syler's in the diner. *holds breath*

Oh, good Lord, Mohinder looks SO FUCKING HOT in white. Oh, and in that peachy-pink thing he's wearing now.

Um, also, I'm having a girl-crush on Mira and she's barely even spoken yet.

Okay, I'm trying to picture Mohinder (who's seriously hot) and Mira (also seriously hot) sleeping together, and IT'S FRIED MY BRAIN.

Two Mohinders? Oh, that is a nice, NICE dream.

Come on, he's dreaming of things in the past he didn't see! Please tell me he's got powers!

Oh, they're both having headaches. Are HRG and Eden putting implants in their brains to make their powers increase? It might explain it.

AW, COME ON, SHOW.

Oh, HIRO. *hugs him*

Mr. Bennet's being honest about Claire. That's a good sign, even if he is being desperate about letting Isaac use drugs.

Come on, Isaac. I have faith in you!

Okay, Mohinder's dreams are getting really fucking weird if they're not powers-related.

Seriously, I really think Mr. Bennet's a good guy but just very desperate to save Claire.

Why didn't Sylar kill Hiro? If he knew the waitress was a Hero, then how did he miss Hiro?

GO, HIRO.

Heeeeee. I've heard that crack about superior officers before, and it never ceases to make me snerk.

OOO! Isaac had a painting of a car on fire! THAT car on fire!

So, wait, then who is Sanjog?

EEE! Hiro's at her birthday party!

*****

I'm probably going to run out of cherry vodka by Wednesday night at the rate I'm going, and I only bought it a week ago. Okay, maybe I should stop buying cherry vodka unless I really want to become a raging alcoholic.

Hiro and the waitress are just so freaking cute together but Sylar is in the diner with them OMG.

Mohinder and Mira ... I just ... there NEEDS to be smut. It's a moral imperative. *nods solemnly*

They are massively cute together I know! I swear I'm chanting "let Hiro change it!!!" at the tv. It will work! I believe *G*

Yes, lots of smut. There needs to be just...Yeah. LOTS. The world needs the sheer hot of it. That is how we save the cheerleader!

Hiro better save her, dammit. That's just not cool.

Okay, Peter, we need your brother to fly you to Texas, where y'all will meet Isaac and he'll tell you where to get Niki, DL, Matt, and Hiro. Your brother will assemble all of them in time for Homecoming. Then, you will go Mimic on Sylar while everyone else contributes to the general bashing in of that psychofuck's head. Mission accomplished.

PS-The cute waitress will come along so she can root on her new boyfriend as he plays knight in shining armor again.
PPS-Sean Bean is listed as playing Sylar. I'm speechless. And silently squeeing with fangirl glee. And torn, because now I don't want Sylar to die (as much).
PPPS-God, I love this show.

Sean Bean is listed as playing Sylar.

The TWoP spoiler boards have been going over this for weeks, and he's not. It says it on IMDb (which is edited by people who may or may not have the correct info - it's been wrong before), but that was him in tonight's episode in the diner, played by Zachary Quinto.

Well, hells. I've lost my faith in IMDB. Sniffle. Still, I really want to know what the heck's up with Sylar. His powers seem a little...scattered, apart from being good for killing people in creepy ways.

Syler didn't kill Hiro because he's been stalking them. He tracked the waitress down. He doesn't know about Hiro yet.

My theory, anyway.

Date: 2006-11-14 04:11 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] drewbeartx.livejournal.com
I think Sylar didn't kill Hiro because he didn't expect him. Remember that Sylar's map only had photos for some of the supers, not all of them. And even if Sylar knew about Hiro being powered, he would've expected Hiro to be in Tokyo, not Midland, Texas.

From: [identity profile] apocalypsos.livejournal.com
It does make me wonder how he's finding these characters, because if it's true that he knew of the waitress and not Hiro then how come he can find some and not all of the Heroes? And if he knows about Hiro and presumably his ability to bend time and space, then why wouldn't he expect Hiro to show up at any time or place? If he knows about Hiro, then it would be like Where's Waldo -- he should always be keeping an eye out for him.

Heh. I love this show. There aren't many theories that can't pan out if you look for the right clues. ;)

Maybe Hiro wasn't what he needed right then.

Date: 2006-11-14 04:21 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] apocalypsos.livejournal.com
It doesn't seem right, though. I mean, even if he didn't need him right then and there, why wouldn't he take him out of the equation anyway? He's pretty much a variable -- he can go wherever and whenever he wants. It seems odd that even if he knew who Hiro was that he wouldn't make a go for him just to get him out of the way. And he had a chance -- Hiro was still in the bathroom when everybody else was finding the waitress' body. He could have killed him then.

From: [identity profile] bleedingsand.livejournal.com
We don't know Sylar's abilities, or even what he's doing. If he can't take more than one person at a time, and Hiro wasn't what he needed, why kill Hiro? Keep him alive, so he can go and get Hiro's abilities later.

Here be straws.

We at least know the telekinesis. But aside from that, yeah, we're pretty much out of the loop.

It does you wonder why he would take the waitress. Oh, my God, this SHOW. I have no fucking clue what's going on most of the time and yet I'm loving every minute of it.

And I'm a Terminator fan, which is leading to all kinds of insane coming-back-in-time-to-kill-future-leaders thoughts. Sheesh.

Yes, lots and lots and LOTS of straws. *plays with the bendy ones*

Date: 2006-11-14 04:33 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] drewbeartx.livejournal.com
Telekinesis can explain everything that we know he did. Again, it could be that he doesn't know what she could do, just that she has/had a power.

I wonder if this is where Hiro learns about those rifts he mentioned to Peter.

Date: 2006-11-14 04:44 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] apocalypsos.livejournal.com
I know the telekinesis could explain away everything we've seen him do, but something seems odd to me about the fact that he flew away from Matt. I mean, yeah, telekinesis could do that, but it comes off weird to me that we'd get him doing that with telekinesis in a world where we have a character whose main ability is flight. I don't know. It could be telekinesis, but I'm not sure I think it was.

Well, if the paintings are a good clue, Hiro and Ando will be back together by Homecoming.

From: [identity profile] bleedingsand.livejournal.com
Hey, straws are fun. You haven't seen my Zack-falls-for-a-hero one. Peter/Zack would be so cute. Really.

But telekinesis... that can answer a lot of it. The freezing thing? Assuming he can change the vibration of molecules, he can slow them down enough to freeze someone to death. But why, why KILL the other heroes? Maybe taking people out that could catch him? We haven't seen him really doing more than what can be explained with telekinesis...

Date: 2006-11-14 04:54 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] apocalypsos.livejournal.com
I'm really hoping they don't do Peter/Claire, if only because I'm clinging in desperation to the theory where Nathan's her biological father.

The only things we know for sure about Sylar are that he's got telekinesis and he's killing these people. We don't know if he's got other powers -- the freezing thing could be telekinesis but that would take an INCREDIBLE amount of control, and the flight thing makes me wonder because yes, he could also do that with telekinesis but it seems odd in a world where we have a character whose main ability is flight. We know he's identified some Heroes, but we don't know how. We don't know why he's killing them. Which means the character and his motives? Make my brain explodey. *sigh*

How do we know that Sylar knows what the specific power each super has is? He could just know that they have the potentiality without knowing whether they've "activated" or what they can do.

Date: 2006-11-14 04:33 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] apocalypsos.livejournal.com
We don't. Then again we don't know what exactly Sylar can do or why he's doing it or why he's cutting all these people's skulls open or how he knows who has the potential for superpowers or if he knows their powers or why he picks one superhero over another or really anything, other than that he saw that one scene in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom with the monkey brains and thought, "YUM!"

In other words ...

My guess is that Sylar is on his way to Odessa to get Claire, and stopped on the way, being a methodical serial killer. :P Midland is only 20 miles away from Odessa. Mind you, Midland is also a suburb looking for a city and most determinedly not rural, and I know this because I grew up there, but geographically, it should still be in the same place.

I grew up in the DFW area, so I know what you're talking about. And yeah, if Sylar's heading for Claire's Homecoming, then Midland wouldn't be too far out of his way for a quick pick-up.

My assumption has been that Sylar had access to Chandra Suresh's map/research, given that they obviously had some sort of relationship. As othet people have said, only some of the heroes were on the map.

My guess is that Charlie was on the map, and aside from that, while Sylar was watching her she kept going on about how gee, she's got this crazy new ability that just popped up recently. And as for Sylar not identifying Hiro, for once he didn't tell someone about his powers--he got shy and played it off as a joke about teaching her Japanese instead (afraid to seem like a weirdo to the cute girl?) so Sylar had no way of knowing that Hiro's a Hero.
