Christmas would be a wee bit better if it weren't also the first day of my period.

OW, OW, OW, OW. Drugs had better kick in soon, or I'm going to be an even pissier bitch for Christmas dinner than I was for Christmas Eve.

So. I got clothes and pens and a teeny tiny digital camera and a new office chair (to replace the insomnia-curing fur-lined butterfly chair I usually sit in) and a new laptop bag and comments already on some of the four Yuletide fics that I wrote. SCORE.

Oh, man, my tummy. *whimpers*

EDIT: As I was trying to come up the stairs behind my brother, who was carrying the office chair he got and was trying to get one of the cats to move:

Bryan: He's like a Chinese guy in front of a tank.
Me: You just made a Tiananmen Square reference?!
Bryan: Yeah.
Me: Isn't that a bit outside your frame of reference?
Bryan: Yeah, that's right. I went there.

OH MY GOD - I just had to post when I happened to read this!

I saw a similiar thing with my friend a month ago when he was lifting a bunch of heavy totes and a small kitten walked up in front of him sat there staring at him and wouldn't move. He tried to move around the kitten only to realize that it's two littermates had him surrounded. Each of them staring at him with huge non blinking kitten eyes and not moving. My friend didn't know what to do.

Another friend who saw the whole thing made the same Tiananmen Square reference!! :)
