God, I'm lazy.

Man, I'd really love one good reason why I shouldn't use another personal day tomorrow night. Aside from the fact that, you know, it'd be ten days into the new year and I'd already have half of my personal days gone. Why do I always have to get on a writing roll right at the end of my weekend? I'm kind of hoping we'll get a snowstorm tomorrow night just so I can reasonably say, "What? I was saving them specifically for this reason!"

But it won't because this winter Mother Nature has apparently said, "Fuck this snow and cold shit, I'm going to the damn movies." Or something.

There was a water main break in town earlier today and my parents had no water, which meant no toilet, which meant my brother was whiny. Hey, guess who did, though? Yeah, that's right. That'd be me. :)

Me: "Well, I've got to get off the phone now. I've got dishes to wash, plants to water ..."
Bryan: "I hate you."
Me: "... laundry to do, the cat to feed, floors to scrub ..."
Bryan: "You suck."
Me: "... a shower to be had, and a piss to take."
Bryan: "You're such a bitch."
Me: "Thanks! I try."

Mother Nature is not at the movies. She's over here in Colorado giving us your snow. Once a week, almost like clockwork.
