Muscles are supposed to move, right?
Jan. 11th, 2007 01:24 pmYou know how I was considering whether or not to skip work tonight?
I woke up just now so sore that I had to abandon my plan to get up out of bed and settle for rolling sideways to the floor and hoping desperately that I didn't get stuck in a crouch.
Um, OW.
Stupid muscles.
I'm trying to look at the bright side. I still have two personal days left which beats out the two people who stayed home all week long last week, I also have eight days vacation, let's not even get into the fact that I really should start looking for a new job and now that they've started layoffs for the year it's a good time to look (especially since I'm the next one of the seniority list to be asked which means I'll probably be off next week), it's not like I ever really stay home from work when I'm sick (since I have a cold pretty much continuously from October to March, there's no point), and I wasn't planning on having personal days come summertime anyway. I'm saving them for snow days, but it's not like I've never driven in snow before.
The things I'm really saving are my vacation days, and those are for Wincon this year, if I'm even still working there. Thanks to the four-day schedule, that'll mean twenty straight days off paid.
Also on the bright side, new Supernatural tonight. WOOT! I have booze, nachos, and candy. I'm prepared, y'all. :)
