That would be the dorkiest thing I've ever done for fandom, I think.

There ... The Encyclopedia of Heavy Metal shipped off to the CW. I can't believe I just did that. *snickers*

I also picked up a copy of The Mammoth Book of CSI (true crime stuff, not about the show or anything) for my mom because I figured she would completely geek out over it and she totally did. Oh, and I found a keychain for my brother that's an Atari joystick you can connect to the TV and play old Atari games with, which he loved.

So basically I spent sixty bucks at Barnes and Noble to buy the affection of three of my loved ones -- my mother, my brother, and the woman keeping my favorite TV show on the air. HEE.

My dad may get The Departed in a couple of weeks. You know, if he's not still acting like a tool.
