I didn't cry during everybody acting the shit out of trying to save Meredith. Hell, I didn't even cry when Meredith woke up and Cristina finally got to tell her that she's marrying Burke, which I was happy about for once just because Cristina was so happy she could tell Meredith. I was fine.

Up until Denny and Izzie brushed against each other in the hall.

Goddamn it, I don't even LIKE Izzie right now.

*sobs*

Would somebody give that bastard his own damn TV show? And maybe NOT kill him off this time? Just a thought. Maybe a TV show creator could realize he's hot and growly and entertaining and yummy BEFORE they bump him off. He and Kyle Chandler could have a buddy comedy! They could snark at one another and be generally sexy and funny, even if we have to clone Kyle to do it so he can be on Friday Night Lights, too.

Meredith's death stuff was very well acted, though, I'll give it that. There wasn't a lot of tension over whether or not she'd bite it for real, which would have been nice, and I could have done without the bit about her having to come back so that Derek doesn't become a pessimist, but it was good. You know what I think I would have preferred, though? If they'd done it more in real time and less all over the damn place. You know, like the live ER episode. I'm not saying they should have done it live, but then it would have been without them still working on Meredith seventeen hours later which made me hope she'd wake up with brains like tapioca. (Well, come ON.) Not to mention it would have eliminated Cristina running around Seattle going to the 99-cent store and drinking at the bar and going to the petting zoo and riding a roller coaster and visiting a strip club and eating her weight in hot dogs and buying a puppy and the rest of the five million things she was able to do while Meredith was off dying.

Ahem.

Boy, Alex and the squishy one-night stand he knocked up were sure cute together, huh? (What? I'm sure you have your outrageously wrong fandom theories, too.)

And thank God for George, who said EXACTLY what I was thinking to Izzie when he said that if he isn't making a mistake she's going to look stupid and if he is he's going to need her. If they're at their fifty-year wedding anniversary smiling and laughing and Izzie's sitting there steaming she's going to look like a grade-A moron. And if you've just broken up with the girl you married in Vegas would you really want to sit next to someone who you just know is thinking, "HA! I told you so!"?

Addison and McSteamy's dare made me giggle, if only because I expected him to walk into the very next scene, slam down ten bucks on a table, and say, "I'm out." Heh.

GOD YES THAT FUCKING KILLED ME.

I had such Inappropriate Thoughts when they were all up in each other's faces. 'Cause I'm a shameless hussy like that.

i'm not a cryer. it's a big day if i feel myself get a lump, or tear up a little. i didn't even cry when john winchester kicked it. i don't watch gray's anatomy. i don't know a damn thing about izzie except she's kind of annoying. i mean, she's kind of a simperer, i don't like how she treats george, and she loved denny more than anything in the world ever.

i have never, ever, in my entire life, been provoked by television to cry that hard.

jeffrey dean morgan is a goddamn genius.

Heee! I am yet again happy to know that I'm not the only one who was wibbling all over the place.

I've already downloaded the files of the first scene with the bitchery and the wibble scene onto my ipod. I named it Bobby, for it is awesome, and would totally spike the beer.

*grin*

I agree with you I didn't get choked up until the end with Denny and Izzie. It could be because I was to busy squeeing of JDM to really get emotionally involved in the actual plot line.

I love Izzie but why are they making her a bitch this season?

I am looking forward to the McSteamy/Addison/Alex triangle

I was fine during most of the ep too, because I don't like Meredith very much, so I wouldn't have been terribly heartbroken if she actually bit it. Of course, I knew that wasn't going to happen so...But the Denny bits KILLED me! I'm right with you - JDM needs his own show, one where he actually LIVES.

And I'm glad George said something to Izzie. I hate how they have her acting, because up until the past few episodes she'd been one of my favorites.

I agree. I was fine, well not really. I was bouncing up and down at the site of JDM but thats a whole different story. That scene...let's just say I bit my lip. Hard. And then he walked down the hallway....the show isn't even about him and they ended with him walking down the hallway and I just sobbed.

As for the acting, I agree, very well acted out. And hee, do you think that was one of Alex's...well I mean she did recognize him. Huh. Interesting theory.

Okay, so sorry for invading you're lj...I just needed to get that out.

JDM is in a movie coming out soon. Indie horror flick called "Dead Or Breakfast". Looks like it has possibilities.

Re: Addison - caught a snippet in this morning's paper about rumors of a possible GA (funny, whenever i type GA I still think Gillian Anderson. Must be the X-Phile in me) spinoff, centered around Addison...

Oh, god. I have never liked Izzie/Denny before ever, and I still melted over that moment.

And the Denny-Kyle show is just about the best thing ever.

Also, prett much all I kept thinking was, "I met that guy!"

Izzie is being a grade A brat about the whole George-Callie-marriage thing but I still love her. Especially since I very nearly cried from her scene with Denny. (seriously though! wasnt there talk of JDM doing another shonda rhimes show?) I didnt cry! But I almost did.

I've been sayin' and sayin':

The Jeffrey Dean Morgan Show: Jeff Says Stuff and Shoots Things

HIGHEST. RATINGS. EVER. Especially if the lead-in show was Jensen Ackles Drinking Beer.

And the follow-up could be Jared Padalecki Reaches For Things On High Shelves and Changes Light Bulbs While Wearing Shirts That Ride Up.

Okay, so since I only have 1 (one) VCR I gave up GA when it moved to Supernatural time. So maybe you could tell me how JDM ended up on the show again? Just a breif plot outline? Maybe? Please?

Meredeth had a near-death experience and saw JDM's character and a few others who've died over the series.

He was awesome. And I'm watching the repeat of the last scene right now. *weeps*

God this episode got to me too! I hardly ever cry and I was tearing up randomly throughout the entire show. And the Denny and Izzie thing? I got goosebumps on top of tears!

OMG the last scene with Denny and Izzy. I turned to my boyfriend, said "I make tears now" and burst into full fledged sobbing. He had to get up and hold me till five minutes into that Oprah thingy.
