Random stuff

-- RAWR. Am awake and ready to write. Need Pepsi, chips and pizza dip and I'm all set. Sun and seventy-degree temperatures are doing tons to perk me up and made my fingers itch to write.

-- How much do I love that my mom's biggest complaint about my uncle and his boyfriend getting married is that she had a hell of a time finding a card that didn't say, "Husband and wife"? I'm really grateful that the worst reaction so far has been my other uncle and dad making jokes about the whole thing, although knowing the both of them they weren't being mean about it, just teasing.

-- This photo from spn_postcards made me giddy upon waking up but obviously I wasn't the only one. :) All I could do looking at the picture (you know, after the swooning and the 'oh, boys') was see how much food Jared is holding and thinking, "It's got to be a huge study in contrasts or something that he's going to eat all of that and probably lick the inside of the styrofoam while I would probably be full just sucking on one of the ketchup packets."

-- Last night at work we had a financial meeting that was supposed to stifle all the talk of us all getting laid off and only made a handful of us have flashbacks to other meetings we'd been in right before we'd gotten laid off. So, you know, good job there.
