apocalypsosMost of the people I known have been having a bit of dry spell writing-wise, myself included. (I've only been working on challenge fics lately, leading me to the dreadful fear that it's going to turn out I can now only write fic at gunpoint.) I blame it on almost everything being on hiatus. It seems a fair enough assessment. :)
Anyway, here's what I was thinking.

Here's what you do.
Post any fic idea you want in the comments. Anything -- any fandom no matter how obscure, any pairing no matter how strange, any fic idea no matter how crackalicious. Anything you've ever wanted to see, or wanted to write but couldn't bring yourself to, or whatever.
The only thing is that by posting it in the comments you are offering it up to ANYONE. Anyone, no matter how good or bad a writer, can write it up if they want. More than one person can write any idea. It's a free-for-all.
There are only two rules:
1. If you write it, tell the person who gave you the prompt.
2. If someone writes your prompt, say thank you, at the very least.
And pimp this if you want. The more people who see this, the more prompts we get and the more ideas for fics that might get out there and get written. :)
