So here's what I've been thinking.

Most of the people I known have been having a bit of dry spell writing-wise, myself included. (I've only been working on challenge fics lately, leading me to the dreadful fear that it's going to turn out I can now only write fic at gunpoint.) I blame it on almost everything being on hiatus. It seems a fair enough assessment. :)

Anyway, here's what I was thinking.

PLOTBUNNY DOGPILE POST

Here's what you do.

Post any fic idea you want in the comments. Anything -- any fandom no matter how obscure, any pairing no matter how strange, any fic idea no matter how crackalicious. Anything you've ever wanted to see, or wanted to write but couldn't bring yourself to, or whatever.

The only thing is that by posting it in the comments you are offering it up to ANYONE. Anyone, no matter how good or bad a writer, can write it up if they want. More than one person can write any idea. It's a free-for-all.

There are only two rules:

1. If you write it, tell the person who gave you the prompt.
2. If someone writes your prompt, say thank you, at the very least.

And pimp this if you want. The more people who see this, the more prompts we get and the more ideas for fics that might get out there and get written. :)

Okay...here's something I was never able to write: a SuperSpecialSammy fic, with everything - telekinesis, premonitions, mindreading, astral projection, whatever, with him having full control over them. And no, he doesn't go evil.

Supernatural/Crossing Jordan crossover, with Jordan pushing her way into one of the boys' cases (because that's what she does) and her and Dean having a (very hot) fling. Since neither of them is really the long term commitment type, there's no hard feelings when he and Sam leave town. I'd prefer no Wincest, but I'm not sure that's my call if I'm offering up the bunny. :)

Okay, this is a bunny that has been stalking me for months. It's of course (me being me) Supernatural:

The boys go to a town to investigate the murders of bunch of kids (high school, college, the writer chooses. The killings look like natural deaths, which is why it called their attention. When they are in the city, the spirit that was doing the killings contact Dean, Apparently she is a vengeaful spirit, only not. What she wants is for these kids to confess something.
Turns out they had raped and killed a girl, but the police never found out they did it. The ghost was raped and killed too, but her murderers are long dead. She contacted Dean because she knew/felt/saw that Dean had saved a girl from the same fate not long ago (maybe the girl from Houses of the Holy).

So, this is basically it. Any one up to write it? Please? I have more details in mind that I can share.

1) Heroes/Jericho xover: Only 3 heroes (including Claire, natch) managed to survive the New York Nuke, only to find that the rest of the country was bombed as well. They eventually make their way to Jericho and find another super already there (anyone but Jake or Hawkins).

2) Everyone who has cable knows that Food Network is food porn. What if someone took that literally and decided to... "adapt" some recipes for their own pleasure. I'm thinking something like "Good Eats Sex". Any fandom.

A Supernatural/Cal McDonald Mystery crossover? I can't get this idea out of my head. If I could write this (and not make it suck) I would. Like say...another one of the "children" like Sam hires Cal to investigate as to why they suddenly have freaky powers and dream about a man with yellow eyes. Meanwhile, a vision leads the boys to the same person. The other kid gets possessed and then they have to work together to try and save the day. There should also be copious amounts of violence, hilarity, drugs, and sexy time. And ghouls. I like it surreal, absurd and porny - and triple word score for the person who can make it funny.

I am in desperate need of a Boogie Nights-inspired Jsquared AU taking place in the 1970s, but I have 2086032486380 things to write, so.

My original idea was Jensen as the tycoon porn director, and Jared as his hot young star hung like a horse, ala Dirk Diggler. Jensen falls in love with Jared, and gets jealous of the other actors and of the people who get to see Jared in the film. He fires Jared with flimsy motives because he doesn't want to put him in films anymore, conflicts ensue yaddayadda angst, confessions of love, BAM. Happy ending. Or angst-fest ending. I hadn't really decided on that part yet.

BUT. Since I am never going to write it, I want SOMEONE, ANYONE to write something even REMOTELY SIMILAR to this, someday, and I will actually die of joy.
