New Supernatural tonight! Granted, I'll be at work so I'll be missing it, but at least there are a bunch of SPN fans there to commiserate with and I'll just download it tomorrow. :)

Thanks for trying to make me feel better yesterday, you guys, although it was dampened by the fact that I got out of work two hours early, was stupid enough to go grocery shopping before I put gas in my car, and had to coast pretty much the entire way home. Thanks, Pennsylvania, for being one great big series of hills and making it possible to coast something like thirty miles back to my house. If you'd been Iowa I'd be sitting on the side of the road right now banging my head off my steering wheel.

Hey, guess what? I should get to send out the apocalyptothon assignments either tomorrow or Saturday. Hell, I would have been able to start sending them out today if it weren't for that pitstop to the grocery store. But I have the chart I tossed together last year all filled out, which means it should take an hour and a half at the most to get everybody's assignments organized. Of course, then comes the fun part of waiting three months for fic and spending my mom's birthday chewing people out for not finishing their stories on time. So, you know, that's fun. *eye roll*

And then on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday I get to finish my Bigbang fic. AND I WILL.

Okay, now I'm off to watch the copy of Shear Genius I torrented and do my hair. Which, really, seems like the appropriate thing to do while watching that show.

Can I ask why you do apocalyptothon if it causes you so many headaches?

I do love doing it, honest. I have a lot of fun organizing it and a lot of great stories come out of it. If I really hated it I wouldn't do it at all.

But, you know, it's like any other challenge -- it's the ones who say they'll write a story and then don't and won't answer your emails or can't fill out a simple form who make me wish pushing the "scroll" button on my computer would whack them upside the head with a rolled-up newspaper through the Internet. :)
