... I'm not the only one still below 10,000 words on their Bigbang, right?

It would make me feel better to know I'm not alone, instead of seeing fifty posts about how everybody's cracking 20,000 words. I'm very happy for you people, really, but if you don't step back and let me wallow in my misery I'm gonna grab the first neck I see and squeeze.

*headdesk*

In other news I spent two hours up at my parents's house to see if that would help and ... okay, not much, but still a noticeable improvement. I think it might have helped loosen me up when Owen, the strangest cat my parents own, kept walking past me through the living room with laundry clutched in his jaws and trailing back between his legs, just casually walking it into the kitchen to drop it in front of the laundry room door. My mother keeps trying to stop him from doing that because she thinks he's getting off on it. I think she should just let him if he's so bored he's trying to do chores, although last week he apparently lost a fang from his lower jaw doing that.

I haven't even started on mine yet!

Then again, I am signed up as an artist, so possibly not that much help... But I was planning on having got my drawing back up to scratch by now and it really, really isn't, so I think I'm allowed to panic a little.

I'm trying to look at the bright side. I mean, yes, I have to work twelve-hour shifts the next four days, but I have the last four days of the month off and absolutely no plans. If I can at least get all of the dialogue written on my days on I can fill in the action on my days off and then, BOOM, I'm done. *crosses fingers*

If your parent's cat is getting off on the laundry, she won't just think he is--she'll KNOW he is, because it's not remotely subtle. My (fixed, for lord's sake!) boy cat regularly defiles sweaters, the blanket at the end of the bed, and once, a poor unfortunate Funshine care bear. Traumatized, I swear.

You'll get there. I have faith in you.

Poor kitty. Getting a fang ripped out must hurt.

Awwww. But that's one bored cat. Chores? A bad bad sign, right there. No one likes that stuff.
