I barely slept the first three days of my four-day weekend thanks to Bigbang, so I've spent the last twenty-four hours or so trying to catch up on sleep. And of course that's everybody's cue to try and call my sorry ass. So I haven't answered my phone since yesterday when I finished my story and if anybody wants to argue with me on it they're more than free to listen to me bitch and moan about finally, finally being able to relax.
And I think I need another nap before I go to work, too. Which sucks because I've still got to make jambalaya for work tonight -- apparently we're having a Cinco de Mayo party, which without booze I believe is more aptly called the fifth of May -- and I have to go take a shower and do my hair and I have NO FREAKIN' TIME.
Also, I watched Veronica Mars last night and I'm having flashbacks to when I was a Buffy fan and before the whole Buffy/Spike thing happened I was totally into them, and then it happened and I loved them, and then they kept it up and kept doing these ridiculous things with them and I didn't love them quite so much as I loved the potential of them, and then they just ran them into the ground and I hated what they did with them. And then every chance they took to talk about Buffy's relationship with either Spike or Angel made me cringe and I just wanted them to show stuff blowing up again.
In summation I would prefer that Veronica be allowed to make out with the very sweet, funny, adorable guy who loves her without immediately cutting away to and following it up with a Very Special Episode about Logan's Sad Puppy Face.
Oh, my God, Vanessa Williams is the guest judge on Shear Genius tonight?! *squeals* And I love how Rene is all, "You can't cut her hair with those things!" with his primo bitchface over Evangelin still using those stupid hedge clippers. I kinda love Rene for being like Tim Gunn but less likely to help and more likely to tell you you're an asshat.

Director: Tami Brown
Out of the ashes of the North American Tribal Gathering rises a whole new breed of programming: Apocalypse Rising: Apocalyptic Themes In Popular Media. Making our debut at Dragon*Con 2007 we offer a contemporary look at the end of days and all that will follow. And as we all know you can't have a good Apocalypse with out such fandoms as Jeremiah, Jericho, The Tribe, zombies, and more! Programming all weekend will look at apocalyptic themes in movies, television, books, and music.....even prophecy, theology, and mythology.
