I finally got rid of the old car!

My previous car, which has been sitting behind my parents' house for about five months now, is finally, FINALLY going away. I told a guy from work that it was a completely unsellable rusted-out mess and that I'd probably see about getting a junkyard to haul it away or something and he said, "I'll give you twenty-five bucks for it." Sold! So he's going to take it away this afternoon and ... hell, I don't care what he does with it. Whack it with a baseball bat, drive it off a cliff, whatever. GONE. \o/

Apparently my dad has been threatening the cats with being sent to live at my apartment when they're bad. Great. Now I'm jail. :)

I need to write fanfic today. Hmmm.

Just don't forget to do all the correct DMV paperwork! I'd hate for you to get caught up in something, even by accident.

And if you were still carrying the insurance on it, double check and make sure it's been really cancelled. My niece found out that all the insurance payments she'd been making on the new car were being applied to the car she'd sold to an uncle. Man, she was pissed as hell to find out she'd technically been driving uninsured (a HUGE BIG ASS no no in California) for about 6 months.

Oh, no, this is the five-hundred-dollar-car-that-could from before I got the Neon. I couldn't trade it in because it was such a piece of crap so instead it's been sitting behind my parents' house for five months. Needless to say they've been thrilled by that. ;)
