I have not stopped crying for ten minutes because of Santos. I can remember when I couldn't stand him and his stupid face and his stupid way of treating Justin, and then I just saw Hilda break right the fuck down and I went with her and now I can't stop crying, damn it.

*cries really, really, really, REALLY hard*

I'm trying to look at the bright side here, that he did redeem himself in the end and he wanted to get married, that he'd become a hell of a person this season and he died trying to be a hero. But there isn't any bright side because he's dead and I can't believe I'm so upset over losing fucking SANTOS when losing characters on other shows didn't hurt half as much.

Oh, God, Justin.

*starts up all over again*

I was totally spoiled and was still all dripping off my chin tears regarding Santos and the issue of telling Justin, and my kids were all, oh for god's sake, mom. TELEVISION. FICTION.

Also, yes. Hug was cutest scene ever--though the memories montage was pretty damn funny all by itself--and should be watched again.

Oh, Alexis treating Daniel like a brother and not like an obstacle for once just made me go YES. *hugs her* He still loves you! You watch out for him, you hear?

For some reason I keep rewatching that last damn scene all over again and when Hilda collapses on the floor (oh, sweetie) I didn't even notice that the lights in the auditorium fade down and all that you see is Betty and Hilda crying together through the doorway for a few seconds. *cries again* Ana Ortiz is fucking AMAZING in that scene. Just ... damn.

They both were great in that scene. Betty's face with the moment of not knowing how to say what she has to say (and you know she told the cops she would handle telling Hilda, because she is Betty and she handles things.) ...wah!

That killed me, too. I was just like, "NO HE CAN'T REALLY BE DEAD!" Their really leaving everything at these awful moments. Alexis and Daniel getting into an accident, Wilhelmina (no idea how to spell that) and Bradford Mead getting married, Henry flying away with his cheating ex-girlfriend, Santos dying, Ignacio in Mexico, Amanda and Christina stuck in the love dungeon and finding Amanda as Fay's daughter (and still being stuck), Claire breaking out of prison... JESUS!

By the way; was that actually Justin singing that song? Because if so, the boy has PIPES. And yeah, I admired the cinematography of that last shot with Betty and Hilda. It was very stage theatrical, like a spot hitting the central characters while the rest of the stage goes dark. I liked it a lot.

Oh man, it's the next day and just reading other people's reactions is making me tear up. That was the saddest episode of Ugly Betty I've ever seen. I can't believe how much I came to like Santos over the season and the few episodes he was in. The whole show last night, my heart was just breaking for everyone. Daniel, Betty, Henry, Hilda, Justin, even Alexis. I just want to hug them all.

Ugh, I KNOW, right?? ABC must have signed some kind of secret deal with Kleenex this week, because between Ugly Betty and Lost I've gone through 2 boxes of tissues. I mean, ya tune in to watch the season finale of one of your favorite comedies, and Henry's crying and Betty's crying and Santos dies and Hilda breaks down and poor poor Justin, Jesus Christ. I can't deal.

That was the thing, though -- it was good. No, fuck GOOD, it was AWESOME. Wonderfully written, wonderfully acted, and even with everything that happened I still didn't want to punch the screen as much as I did an hour and a half later.

Oh I know, it was completely amazing! Surprising, though. Caught me off guard. I was expecting a little angst, but mostly happy fluffy, and what we got was the other way around. But amazing. The best kind of hurt. God, I'm gonna have to watch it again when I get home. And then maybe again and again. Betty and Henry's goodbye scene on the bridge just... guh.

I only caught the seecond half of Ugly Betty, from when Marc has to pick up the doggie poo and i only watch the show occasionally but OMG i seriously got way more teary for this than for SPN.

i mean, Hilda breaking downand screaming? Nearly had me sobbing. I loved Santos! And not just becaus he was Winston on Drive! (okay partially for that)
