Also, it turns out my brother went out and got a haircut, too. He went from scruffy and unshaven to clean-cut and baby-faced. That was kinda surreal. When we first saw each other up at my parents' place we both stood there for a few seconds with the same o.O faces. :)

Heh. Living in that house, you either get used to being manhandled or become the hermit. My mom's always got one cat who doesn't want anyone to come near him and won't come out of hiding, but nearly all of them are social butterflies who'll put up with petting and hugging for at least a little while. :)
