After four days of my desktop running annoyingly slow thanks to the sudden invasion of enough Trojan Horses to make Orlando Bloom burst into tears, I finally just gave the fuck up and spent the last four hours restoring the entire system.

*throws hands in air*

Hey, on the bright side, the yearly light parade passed by my window at about nine o'clock. I didn't think it was so, but apparently three guys and a pickup draped in twinkle lights counts as a light parade. And is so damn exciting the entire town turns out for it. Who knew?

(I hate parades. Have I ever mentioned that? Like, hardcore HAAAATE. I don't think I've ever gotten the appeal of a bunch of people walking down the street past me in a line followed by forty-seven fire trucks. And no, throwing the free candy at me doesn't help. Well, doesn't help much.)

Hello there - I was in marching band for six years. SIX YEARS. I promise you don't hate parades as much as people in marching band. They always put a band right behind the horses. RIGHT. BEHIND. The HORSES. Fortunately drum line was good for pressure release. As we passed parking lots and decks we'd play extra-loud to see how many alarms we could set off.
