I was about to pop in the Keira Knightley version, too, so this is fantastic. (God help me, though, I quite like the Keira Knightley version. That's my there's-nothing-on-TV-so-let's-watch-something-else DVD. I certainly like Rosamund Pike better as Jane, that's for damn sure.)

I still haven't seen that version. I have heard good things about it, it's just that I love the BBC one so much and 'remakes' even if they aren't really remakes make me a bit nervous.

I was really surprised by how much I liked the Keira Knightley version, even taking into account that I wasn't expecting much going in. I definitely rewatch it, which is a good sign. (I don't own it, but my sister does, so I regularly steal it from her.)

I like the BBC version better, but it also requires a much bigger time commitment. Plus, the KK version wins out for surprisingly awesome casting in so many roles.
