-- My mom's still in the second part of her surgery or whatever, according to my dad, but she's good so far. Which is good, because even with minor surgery I'm completely freaking paranoid. So this whole getting-surgery-three-hours-away thing is sooooo not helping, because I can't even go down there and ... hell, I don't know, bring everybody back cheesesteaks or something.

-- lilacsigil bought me a disaster book, too! Woohoo! Oh, my God, thank you soooo much! *hugs* :)

-- Last night at work was fun, because we had a pizza party (unrelated to my birthday) and Jess made me a banana split cake and gave me an Office talking card, which I kept playing with because I am new-episodes deprived. Heh.

-- Speaking of which, guess who has to work the weekend of the Office convention? That's right, this chick right here. *sigh* So now not only am I going to miss Wincon, I'm probably going to sleep through the Office con. Damn it. (Although, so far only seven of the cast have been confirmed, and none of them are my top four -- Steve Carrell, BJ Novak, John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer. If one of them were going, I would lose boatloads of sleep to go, but so far no dice.)

-- They're having a season one Top Chef marathon today. I missed the Fat-Ass Snackmaster challenge, which sucks, but I'm so happy to see Harold bitching and Dave making notes on his little yellow pad. *pats them all on their heads*

-- And now I have to go take a shower so that I can take my laptop and go down to Panera and USE it. \o/
