Oh, and just for fun, my entire family proceeded to greet me for the rest of the day with, "So, find a boyfriend in Virginia yet?"

I know it's typical family behavior, but I got so irritated with it after a while that when my cousin asked me what I did for a living now, I said, "I play with myself professionally."

It goes to show what kind of family I have that without missing a beat, half of them asked how much it paid while the other half asked if I got medical with that.

Wow, I must have misread/misunderstood this message. I was feeling outraged, well pissed, on your behalf but it sounds like people think this is a good thing for your family to do.
