Just found my aircast! *user does dance of joy* It took me forever and a day, but I found it. Now I don't have to even think about emergency rooms. *user squeals happily*

(And fallofrain, I know what you're thinking. I've been to the emergency room for this stupid ankle three times since I twisted it the first time and every damn time, it's been aircast-and-ice. So I just saved us both a trip. ;))

Of course, I've been skipping out on work for awhile. And I will continue to. I'm out till at least the first of July.

Eh, Mark saw me gimping around the place last night. Not to mention that Tom was right there when I did it and saw how it was starting to swell when I left. At least I've got a good excuse to skip out and witnesses to go with it. :)

I know. I didn't get to do it last night, so if I skip out tonight, I'm probably going to have to wait until tomorrow. Grrr. (I can still do that, right? Don't mind me, I'm in the middle of stupid questions hour, apparently.)

Argh ... you know, it'd be real nice if OotP had bothered to show up today. At least I would have had new Harry Potter to play with. *sigh*

Can you tell I'm not in the best of moods? Maybe it's because there's a '97 Chevy Cavelier sitting in the driveway and it's my brother's new car.

Grrrrrrr. If I ask nice, do you think I could get someone come to my house and blow up Paco so that maybe I could get a new car, too?

Because his first car was a leaky $600 POS, that's why. *sigh* Just for this, Fate definitely owes me or someone I know the Powerball jackpot on Wednesday night. Preferably someone who will pay off my bills, buy me a new car, and ship my sorry ass off to VA to my writer's group.

And maybe buy me a James Marsters clone.
