... in that I am physically incapable of sleeping late on Christmas morning. Or at all, it seems. *yawns*

But it does mean that I woke up from my two-hour nap (well, let's just call it what it was, and boy, am I going to regret THAT later) just in time for Yuletide to open. Woohoo!

What I got from my Yuletide Santas:

That Merry Still Goes Round (Chuck) -- You guys. OH, YOU GUYS. So this is my main present, and I gave this prompt that was basically, "Why Captain Awesome thinks Chuck is kind of awesome." Because you know he does. He SO does. That's one of the best things about Awesome, that he clearly and genuinely likes Chuck, and that's my favorite thing about the whole show. And this is just such a great take on that, because it's totally THEM. I want to make out with the mental image of the two of them hanging out and watching Star Wars together. They don't even have to be making out. *beams*

Writer's Block (The Incredibles) -- HA! I have this picture in my head every time I watch the movie and this is SO it. *giggles madly*

A Midnight Clear (As The World Turns) -- Luke/Noah first-time smut! The world needs more of that, damn it, and this was fabulous. :)

And now I have to take another -- *ahem* -- nap, because I have to get up and go to my parents' house again in a couple of hours. Sigh.

EDIT: Also, there are roughly forty-seven million stories about Emerson Cod and knitting. Which is just ... oh, man, have I mentioned how much I love fandom right now? Because Emerson. And knitting.

I have slept 4 hours since about 11:00 last night... for no other reason than I just can't sleep. Not excited, not antsy. Just can't sleep.

And I have cookies.

I have those smushy cookies that have icing on them and are nine gazillion calories each. I don't know why I bought them, but I've reduced myself to "sharing" each cookie with the dogs so I don't have to have someone come blow out the front doorjamb so I can fit through it tomorrow morning to get to work.

I think I've given up on going back to sleep. If I succeed I'll want to stay there, and I'd rather just stay up, go to my parents' house, open presents, and then come back to my apartment to pass the fuck OUT.

If I were smart, I'd be cleaning my apartment right now. I have a feeling I'm getting something my dad's going to have to either install or build for me, so it might be nice if I didn't have to go, "Um, gimme a couple of hours."
