I don't know about the rest of you, but it makes me feel a little better that I have yet to see anyone say anything other than, "De in a fire, 2007. You sucked like a broken vacuum. Don't let the door hit you on the way out!"

Most of us may have had a bad year but at least we had a crappy year together, you know?

(Next year: Everybody gets laid! And published! Maybe at the same time!)

Agreed, except the last two weeks were pretty decent for me. The rest of it could go piss up a rope. Family deaths, illnesses, lost jobs, friends whose pets passed on. I'm glad it's over.

A friend of mine had the great idea to have a Viking funeral for 2007. They have a little ship made from a turkey pan and some cardboard, and they are going to fill it with shredded calendars, set it afloat (on fire) and then throw rocks at it until it sinks!

We can't be there for that, so we are gathering up cardboard with 2007 written on it, and will set it all on fire at midnight!

I can totally agree with the "getting published" bit. Not so sure about the getting laid - kind of hard when I don't ever go anywhere - but I finally got myself to write an NC-17 scene, so that's kind of on the right track, right?
