Mission accomplished!

My Christmas check from my grandparents is in my checking account. My mail is sent. I have food, soda, Twilight and New Moon (HA! That should be amusing), novels to work on, an apartment to clean, a new Project Runway tonight, and three free days to myself.

I may not leave this chair FOREVER.

or for three days. shhh.

or until tomorrow, when I have money to buy knitting supplies and a job fair at a data entry place around here. no, really, SHHH.

Ooo, ooo! Did I mention that as of yesterday I have personal days again? And eight vacation days? Last year I used up all of my vacation days in January so that I could slack off for a month (Bliss! Don't let anyone I work with tell you different!) but this year I'm saving them for when we have winter storms so that I don't have to drive in the freaking snow again. Of course, it would help if I would pay more goddamn attention to the weather, wouldn't it? Sigh.

That sounds like a very solid plan. Also, smaller periods of time-off are good too, that way you can have some time to yourself when you need it.
