I need to get out of the house, and I haven't been to the movies in ages. I can't decide what to see (although I'm leaning towards the cheesier options because I'm just in that kind of a mood.)

I liked Juno a lot, thought Jason Bateman was great.

Heard that One Missed Call is like one of the worst remakes ever, which is why I really want to see the original version.

Haven't seen the other two, but my mother loved National Tresure 2 as much as the first one.

I really do want to see Juno and Atonement, but I'm really in the mood to see a MOVIE movie, you know? No deep thinking, a lot of eyerolling on my part, stuff blowing up, that sort of thing.

Of course, I'm leaning towards National Treasure 2 right NOW. The way I am, I'll probably change my mind the second I walk up to the ticket counter. *shrugs*

If you're still in the mood for pointless violence and stuff after you l;eave the movies, check out Shoot em Up. It's an hour and 40 minutes of totally pointless killing. It's great.. :P

There's always I Am Legend or Sweeney Todd. I don't think you have to really think for either of those.

Worst case, Alvin and the Chipmunks begs you to not think.

I just watched Atonement myself last night and loved it beyond all measure. It's a fantastic movie.

Juno was awesome (and it's the name of my boston hee-hee) but you should go see El Orfanato. It was beyond awesome. This says alot coming from me - I usually like at least one decapitation in my entertainment. And when national landmards get blowed up.

If you wanted to see Juno (I HIGHLY recommend it) but didn't feel like paying for it, I just uploaded it for [livejournal.com profile] iheartcinema and can give 'em to you too, if you like.

Speaking of Michael Cera, a friend of mine from grade school made this video a few weeks ago: Drunk History

I liked Juno a lot, but I must say that I'm intrigued at the idea of a film that got 0% on Rotten Tomatoes.

From what I know about you, I think you would have the most fun at National Treasure. Just like I did.

How about Charlie Wilson's War? I enjoyed it a lot, even if Julia Roberts was sporting an Alabama accent instead of a Texas one.

I've just made plans to see National Treasure 2. I really enjoyed the first one. Great popcorn flick. Not a great film by any means, but a really great way to kill two hours.

Truthfully? The only reason I chose National Treasure is that it's the only one I've seen. But it is fun, as long as you're not the sort whose blood pressure goes way up when exposed to ginormous historical inaccuracies. Which it doesn't seem like you are. :-)
