(I was six at the time. It was my first time on a plane. The flight attendant told my mom it was the most she'd ever seen anybody throw up. I was pretty impressed at myself.)
Is Cloverfield awesome? Well, the first half of it is.
Do you know anybody who had to leave the movie because it nauseated them so badly they couldn't take it anymore? Well, you do now.
Yes, I had to leave the movie early because I had to run to the bathroom to throw up once and wasn't about to stay if I felt the urge again. Fifteen minutes later, I picked up my bag and left. Now, I'm notoriously motion-sick by pretty much everything except boats. (So far, but then again I haven't been on a lot of boats.) But I've never really had a problem whenever movies were supposed to make you motion-sick. It's usually been a selling point afterwards -- "Oh, everything makes me throw up and I didn't feel like puking at all!"
Except this one did, and of COURSE it did, because not only should I not have spent the money I did to go see it today, but there's no way in hell I'm going to be able to afford to go back and see the ending for, well, weeks. And that's if I'm lucky. *headdesk*
Okay, now that I'm home, I think I'll go puke again.
(Oh, yeah, I also had to skip going to Panera. Today sucks. Do-over?)

Date: 2008-01-19 06:53 pm (UTC)I saw only part of Cloverfield last night. I made it to the scene at the Brooklyn Bridge, and then I had to leave in a hurry. I'm just gonna wait for the DVD. :(

As long as you have your ticket stub, I don't think there should be a problem, esp. since it's because you got sick. If they don't give you cash, they should at least give you a readmission ticket.
