He's so very welsh! Like welsh first language welsh! And best friends with Ioan Gruffudd! And when they're together they're just all 'welsh, welsh, welsh'.......I get so excited by the mention of his name! which is why I can't stop using exclamation points (!!) and had to comment on your post!

Don't kill me or anything, but about four years ago I saw Matthew Rhys as Romeo in 'Romeo and Juliet' in the RSC, and it was absolutely fantastic. I sort of wish I had a TARDIS handy so that I could show you. Proper Shakespearean tight trousers and codpiece, too. YUM.
