This week SUCKS.

So because of that, I dare all of you to tell me as many things as possible off the top of your head that are currently making you giddy as fuck, with absolutely NO added-on depressing bits like, "My hair is looking really great this week, which makes up for the fact that my ass is now the size of Rhode Island," and no knocking what's making anybody else happy. BE POSITIVE.

I'll start.

-- My new novel is going along swimmingly. Oh, yes. \o/
-- I still have half a family-size bag of Cheetos left.
-- I only have to work three days this week.
-- My next two paychecks after this one are going to be fat with holiday pay.
-- All I'll have to do for the next few days to make myself laugh is saying, "Fucking her ass. Saving her life." Preferably while lifting one fist in the air and saying it like the movie trailer guy.
-- I still have three used books coming to me in the mail.
-- Barack Obama. No clarification necessary.

I'm babysitting this weekend rom 2.30 to 11. That may SOUND killer but its really great because the kids are m favorite kids IN THE WORLD, swear to god.

My best friend should be getting home any day now for a couple days. She's been in Iraq and so I am super excited to see her. AND she gets to be home in time for her BIRTHDAY. So that's double awesome.

My knowledge of Vox's structure makes it possible for me to reliably Google music that I do not yet have on plastic (but most assuredly will be getting eventually!) and a friend's post made me remember that I really do need "Kiss from a Rose".

I am getting paid $2/hour extra to STAY THE HELL UP ALL NIGHT.

One of my friends had a crazy idea that just might work, and is making the news. (You won't want details on this one.)

I have bonded with certain of my new teammates.

I found the MOST AWESOME GREETING CARD IN THE WORLD for a BPAL-addict friend. On the front it says "Smell this card!" and on the inside it calls them a "card-sniffing freak". I have anointed the card with BPAL and zomg she is going to laugh her ass off when she gets it (and sniffs it).

I have almost the most awesome volunteer boss in the world. (The most awesome one retired to write awesome science fiction. Science fiction that evolves from popslash is by definition awesome.)

My new computer is still awesome.
